Opinions of Sonic Forces' Soundtrack?

I love it, and I especially love the ones with deeper meanings, like Space Port, which features some pretty deep moral questioning, but then again, a lot of people don't like it. Some of my favorites are... Ghost Town, Casino Forest, Fist Bump (Null Space), Fist Bump, Final Boss, Space Port, Sunset Heights, Aqua Road, Metal Sonic Boss, Infinite Boss (Mystic Jungle), and Prison Hall. The Classic and Avatar soundtracks are the best in my opinion. I'm glad to see the return of vocal tracks, and I hope the avatar (or at least vocal tracks) returns.

It’s really good. We haven’t had any vocal tracks in stages for a long time, and I definitely enjoyed every second of these tunes. Modern’s music is good too, it’s just that the synth should have been toned down. Other than that, the music reminded me of the Adventure era. Classic’s music is imo is just as good as Mania’s soundtrack. Ghost Town is one of my favorite songs in the game :D The only thing is the instrument choice is a bit odd for some songs.

Originally, the Avatar and orchestral stuff was the only songs I liked.

However, listening to the whole soundtrack over and over... the whole thing is great!

Although there's too much synth, the melodies are really catchy with only one or two duds I find.

Overall, Modern's synth isn't bad in my opinion, but it could be toned down. Casino Forest and Moonlight Battlefield are great!

The music direction. The synthesized instruments are pretty overused and the Classic tracks in particular are kinda screechy, but the songs themselves are pretty good for the most part. Special mention to Prison Hall, Ghost Town, Sunset Heights, Aqua Road, Infinite 2, Null Space, Classic Death Egg(while you're playing it), Imperial City, and that celestial 3rd final boss theme.

Probably the best since forever (i.e. the BOOM series of games)

I especially like Infinite's theme and the main them

The Avatar music is really good, but doesn't really fit with the theme of the game or the whole series as a whole. Some of the tracks sound more like they would belong into an magical girl anime.

It's not the worst soundtrack of any Sonic game by quite a long a shot. Lots of the tracks I'm really enjoying listening to, and my favourite is probably Luminous Forest or Sunset Heights. I feel that the focus on making a dance/techno theme really let it down though. Too many of the tracks, particularly Modern Sonic's, sound way too similar to each other. Arsenal Pyramid Outside and Mortar Canyon start off virtually the same. The synth is just overbearing and far too frequently used. The avatar music is alright, but I think I'd prefer most of the tracks as instrumentals. Not all of them though; I adore Fighting Onward. Classic Sonic's tracks are far better realised without the stupid Megadrive soundfont. One thing that the soundtrack does do pretty well is it creates a somewhat desolate atmosphere. The music is often downbeat in one way or another, and it's the way that the game gets any emotion across because the story is so poorly played out.

Fist Bump is still awful though. And the orchestrated stuff remains as bland and unfitting as ever.

There is too much of a resemblance in all Modern Sonic songs. I feel like Egg Gate, Luminous Forest could be one song. The second pair as you said. Soundtrack is not bad, but the tracks are very similar to each other and still, they bear some hidden resemblance to Fist Bump.

From Classic Sonic stages only Ghost Town is really memorable somehow, all others are a bit odd with the Megadrive soundfont plus I get some deja vu moment from hearing them.

Avatar songs are also fine, but they are most of the time way too cheesy.

As much as Sonic 06 was a broken game and the soundtrack felt like relieve, Sonic Forces is OK game and the soundtrack while not causing harm is practically only OK as well... and doesn´t do any good favour.

P.S.:I am curious how would be Forces viewed in 5-10 years time. As I cannot see anything really memorable from it.

No Casino Forest? I feel like it's the best Classic Sonic track.

No Casino Forest... that gives me the biggest "I guess I heard something very similar" from all.
