I'm quite sure the music Super Sonic Racing is in the game, but I don't know where it plays. Same for Can You Feel the Sunshine.

Could we have a list of the tracks we figured out please...

And ooof, like the old reused tracks harkens me of the old sonic levels' feel...

.....and the new ones just don't...is it the artstyle?

I actually like what I saw out of Sand Road and Boo's House. Sure Boo's House has straight lines but it has a lot of cool hazards that force you to move around a lot. In this gameplay, we actually how fun it could be to play this with friends and exploit the team mechanics. Sand Road actually looks better I expected. I liked it as well.

Shame about Pinball Highway... Hopefully they improved it a bit at least. Now, there's only one track that we don't know... Please be Egg Hangar.

Damn. Massively disappointing about them not including Galactic Parade considering the spacey theme for the Casino Park Zone. Bummer. 

What’s a tad more annoying is that they did fit in Ocean View from Transformed within the Seaside Hill Section... so it could have been done. Arguably I think Ocean Ruin from the original ASR game is the better and more interesting track compared to other two originals and Ocean View - especially considering the Transformed sections have been stripped away. I’m gutted that track was ousted of the 4 choices.

On the flipside... Sandopolis Zone’s tracks are looking very sweeeet! 👌

I think the problem with Galactic Parade is that that was made for S&ASRT, and thus had the airborne sections.  That was part of the appeal imo, being able to race in actual space rather than just on a track.

What I will say about Galactic Parade is that it's not only the flying section that would have been removed, even the road changed to something slightly different every lap, and taking that away would have made it less special. I guess Ocean View gave us some wrong expectations here, but I hope we can have another racer with dynamic track design eventually.

Though I'm really wondering about Egg Hangar vs Turbine Loop as the final track now. The Death Egg track is far more interesting and also much easier for them to port, but it technically isn't part of Final Fortress and wouldn't the zone have a different name in that case?

Having an ORIGINAL Final Fortress track would be such a nice surprise at this point but not counting on it.  Also now that we have a GP mode confirmed, I wonder how it will be structured, considering there's an odd number of tracks.  Will they be long, with 7 races?  Or short with 3 races (each zone being a "cup")?

Cool to get a confirmation of the single new zone's name, Glacierland.  Though now we know that everything that wasn't revealed upfront is just ASR retreads, it does feel weird to just have this one, single new zone amidst 6 throwback ones lol.

Perhaps they were just teasing the existence of a general "spooky" aesthetic to some of the tracks; I'm not sure we knew about any of those at the time.

I noticed a couple of enemies in the tracks: blue Egg Pawns in Bingo Party, Crabmeats in Lost Palace, Sandworm (!) in Sand Road, Boo's in Boo's House.

Anyway Final Fortress as a zone is locked in the build played by Aaron, meaning that the tracks besides Thunder Deck are still unknown… please let it be Egg Hangar, now THAT was an actual fan favorite. Turbine Loop was simply dull.

Egg Hangar however is on the Death Egg, not Final Fortress. So... Turbine Loop it is, and is to me the biggest dissapointment so far, the final stages being completely reused.

I don't know what the debate is. People were really clutching at straws guessing that Galactic Parade would be in Casino Park and are now doing the same with Egg Hangar for Final Fortress.

There's no reason to expect this game to have such left-field track selections, when everything is clearly split into established zones. Honestly now, what makes more sense; a third track based on the same zone (as has been the case for each of the six other zones), or a random swap to a different zone that's not represented in the game?

Has there been any confirmation if you can switch the in game chatter off, a bit like you can do in Sonic Forces? I imagine there could be some repetition.

The Frozen Junkyard and Hidden Volcano footage here both have dialogue disabled.

No idea. I didn't go to this event. Myself and the other staff except for Svend and T-bird didn't even know about it until we saw the article on the site about it.

I won't be turning it off but its smart to have these options for people who don't enjoy it or can't easily tune it out when it repeats. Rise of Lyric could have benefited from it, thats for sure.
