Aaron's a good guy and I'm not gonna blame him for just doing his job, but that's literal just PR speak and nothing more*. The sad fact is, people wouldn't be asking for DLC so much if the base game's content didn't seem somehow unsatisfying, minimal, stretched-thin or incomplete, etc. Making it seem like that isn't the case by implying that the game doesn't need DLC is the best he can do about such a circumstance.  If there WAS paid DLC planned, that exact same human mouth would be instead championing what great value the DLC is gonna be and how they wanted to do more than just a base game product and continue supporting it after launch with content that's worth paying for etc.

*(Of course there is a chance either one of these scenarios is/would be his true feelings, but this is still what he'd have to say about it in spite of that as the face of Sonic's western PR).

Had to do a bit of clean up just now. Though the discussion about the game being leaked or any of its contents is fine (we can't really control that), I don't think it's a good idea to be linking to downloads of the music (or anything else) when the game isn't even out nor posting links for people to follow that might be on the sketchy side.

It's interesting you've got to unlock the rest of the cast from scratch, similar to MK8 (Although it shows painfully given that MK8 has a huge cast from the start, as well as just about as many unlockables as TSR has).

I'm getting more excited for the game as it gets closer to release, which is nice. I'm not feeling massively overhyped, like I was for Mania and Forces, but it's a nice steady optimistic buzz of "this should be some good fun".  Worried about how customisation will play into it, since apart of what makes me a bit apathetic to MK8 is the kart customization and how it grants obvious advantages to racers, but I'm still cautiously optimistic overall.

I won't link because it's against the rules, but just YouTube search Team Sonic Racing OST and set the date to today. So far we got the full main theme as well as each character's theme (Silver got an amazing remix BTW) and Lost Palace's music (which is so sweet).

Didn't sounded like a remix to me TBH

Sad they didn't remixed Metal Sonic's theme from Sonic 4 Episode 2 (arguibly one of the few good things from that game) for Metal. Re-using his Forces' theme was kinda lazy.

He's either Eggman, Classic Eggman (lol) or Nega... Amy's suspicious from the beginning that he's Eggman, so I would place my bets on Nega. Unless they wanna be veeeeeery obvious and have Amy screaming: "-I knew it!" by the end. Calling it, it will be Nega and the last race in the Adventure Mode Eggman and Metal will team up with him for a final race against your team.

Do we know if single Joy-Con play will be an option for the Switch? I was just looking at the controls in the option screen with that video posted on the last page, and it seems that it could work, but the 'trick stick' is the right analog, and with only one stick on each joy-con...well, you know.

Out of interest, can you pre-order TSR digitally like on PS4 or Xbox One? I ask because I find it interesting that you can't pre-order it on Steam, it just says that it becomes available on May 21st. Not available through GMG, Amazon seem to be only selling the console versions. It's not a complaint, just an observation, it seems rare to see any major game not to be available through pre-ordering. I'm actually thinking of picking this up for myself as a treat, depending on how much my car repair is on Monday.

I will say that I caught glimpses of you guys talking about some of the song choices and they didn't surprise me. Especially Omega's. What else were they going to use for him after all?

The music for Ice Mountain is god tier. Also, I'm guessing the repeated tracks in GP are placeholder for when you unlock the final zone. One track will probably remain unused tho.

I cannot remember the last time I rocked out this much to a Sonic game's music. It's so gooooood! About time that SEGA returned to this kind of Sonic music!
