Wow, that's such an awesome idea and looks super cool. The details you chose fit a Grass type quite well!

Cheers a bunch!  🙂

I want to gradually improve my skills with accurately drawing from observation (Drawing not primarily from memory and not just by stylising existing elements.), and I thought that an art series such as this would be a cool way to do so.  :-3

Art #72 -- Pokémon Customs: #2 - Ivysaur

art__72____pokemon_customs___2___ivysaur

Apologies for some missing dates regarding when I worked on this piece.

I had a mini rollercoaster of emotions way back when I originally drew this, and I was quite stressed while this piece was a work in progress.

Due to this, I lost track of time, didn't work on this piece at a consistent pace, and didn't log down all dates.

Your detailed art looks very nice! How long does it take you to complete one? Maybe one day I'll try drawing something more detailed lol.

Thank you very much!  🙂

How long it takes me to complete drawings varies from piece to piece. Some art pieces are finished within about an hour, while others can take around a month to complete. It depends on a variety of factors, such as level of detail, scope of each drawing, quantity of different mediums used, etcetera. The dates alongside my drawings provide an approximate idea of time spent, but they're not time specific.

Intricately detailed drawings aren't for everyone, but you may find it interesting to try at least once. Personally, the intricate biro pen (And also more recently led pencil.) drawings remain my favourite kind of art to create, as it aligns with my general interests of fine attention to detail.  :-3
