Eh this one didn't turn out the way I had planned and went a little overboard playing with colors I think, but here it is none the less.

Literally threw Knux in last second just to make the background busier.

I'm curious, what art program do you use? Your latest piece is quite cute btw.

It's just GraphicsGale, a lot of indie devs and pixel artists recommend it. That's why I originally picked it up, but I find it quite fun to use with traditional art as well.

It's nice for working with sprite animations:

The whole process of cleaning things up digitally is pretty new and experimental to me.

You know what's a crying shame? There's not nearly enough Tekno art out there! I'll see what I can do about that.

I imagine somewhere there's an equally pained Sally aggressively typing back at her on Nicole over some forgotten chat room.

(Darn, that's the 2nd time I forgot her loopy power-earrings. >_<)

Archie cemented fashion designer Honey into a lot of peoples minds and while I love how they handled that characterization. I used to encroach on Espio's territory and characterize her as a ninja, what with the shadow sneak being her signature move, and gives me something interesting to do with the frills.

Got a couple of additions.

First I did a redraw of my Ninja Honey that I originally drew in 2018.

(The original is 3 posts above this one.)

The face looks a little off but I can't quite place why.

 

Next: I found a pose of Tekno I liked and redrew it while trying to hit close to official art like that in Sonic the Screensaver. 

 

Wish I could remember which issue I based this on it was one of the Eternity Ring adventures.

I think the right leg is just a little off balance but otherwise I'm pleased with how this one came out.

and last but not least this silly Bazooka touting Knuckles I drew after watching way too much City Hunter:

Honestly not sure how to feel about this one. Afraid it comes off as a little too edgelordy, but the goal was mostly to study the colors and shadows in the "Go Go Heaven" opening. I might do more, or just transition to City Hunter characters. xD

Here's something a little different from what I've been doing:

Oh, and this is a direct aping of a Banjo and Kazoo pose. This is why I should not joke so much. They will lead to spontaneous drawings. ;_;

Time for another batch!

I colored my Sonic Kazooie piece.

and following up on that a Zero in the same style. I just got some brush pens and so I'm trying out physical inking, mixed with digital colors, so I'll probably pump out a series of images like this. I want to start doing more dynamic scenes instead of single character poses. 

This one I drew after reading Sonic Fan J's Fan Fic, Ring Bond, wasn't until I got to coloring it that really grew to like how it turn out:  

I might work on the background some more but for now I'm moving on. The original idea was to have a reef of flowers bordering the image but I'm lazy, and afraid of obscuring the characters.

Getting a lot of practice in with my brush pens. 

Yes, I'm sticking with this idea until I get it just right. xD

(Mecha's way too derivative here, but it's hard to step away from the original image without feeling like I'm compromising his design. 

I think of it as a master study.)
