HElp me find my favourite story !

Hi could anyone help me find a story on fanfiction? It was my favourite, but I can’t find it . It was about sonic getting captured/kidnapped by an evil black or white hedgehog . The evil guy holds him captive in a mansion , where there are shadow creatures around and also sonic gets hurt by the evil guy . Then , it turns out that the evil guy is actually some ancient hero who sacrificed his body , thus making the evil soul trapped inside him . Sonic and yin/yang -not sure what name - became close , almost to a father son level . Then , the evil soul takes over and sonic , with the soul of the hero’s daughter attempts to save the hero and defeat the evil soul . Has anyone read this story before ? It will be a great help if you could find it or remember the name . I really want to read that story again .
