The cup... Xvi's. XVI is 16 in roman. Also, the knives form a IV, which is 4 in roman. It can only be 16/4, or, April's 16th. Calling it, the announcement teaser. That is also a new date, and this time SEGA posted it, not Sonic aka Aaron. Either this, or the pen also counts, which would then form IV I XVI (4/1/16)... April fools... ffffff*ck.

Just finished the game. For an April Fool's joke there's actually been quite a bit of effort here, especially with the references and one-liners.

For those wondering if there's any further hints given out:

Big finds out SEGA is okay with his game being delayed beyond his April 1st deadline. Nudge Nudge, Wink Wink.

There's also this at the end, I can't see anything much here and I don't think there is (other than more BBFA3 coming soon!) but I can't quite make out what's on that first tab.
