Primal (new Genndy Tartakovsky Adult Swim series) "Gotta get back, back to the past"

Premiers on June 12, expected release date to be announced. It reminds me a bit of the prehistoric segment at the beginning of 2001: A Space Odyssey, or Conan the Barbarian.
Can't wait, honestly, since this is a full new product, hopefully Genndy should be able to tell a story he wants with no rush.

C-Cor...that's some intense and high quality animation.

Too graphic for my tastes but I hope it gets the success it deserves if Genndy is at the helm. Their is practically no modern western animations that interest me these days and his name represents a time when they did.

Also, maybe all cavemen look the same but I can see a resemblance to the man that discovery fire in a classic Dexter's Laboratory episode.

Honestly, it feels like Genndy never gets a break when it comes to his work.

-Sym Bionic Titan gets cancelled.

-Samurai Jack gets a rushed/mediocre finale.

-Popeye film gets canned for the Emoji movie.

-And Hotel Transylvania might be the only thing holding him at that rate 

I do hope Primal succeeds so he can get on track because I really enjoy his animations.

It looks interesting enough with it’s pre-historic theme and seeing how bloody it is, it reminds me of Samuria Jack season 5 all over again lol.

Seriously though, I'm really intrigued about this. Genndy's done some great stuff over the years, I'll keep an eye on this. Thanks for sharing!

Can we count his awesome Star Wars show being being replaced cheap ugly-ass CG?

Anyway this is a nice-looking promo, I'm a very casual fan of Tartakovsky, I'm not sure if I'll watch this, never been a fan of the prehistoric setting. At the very least if I hear some positive buzz post-release I'll keep it on the radar.
