Splash Hill Zone Act 1 Remix - Another game, another Hill Zone

Had this on my hard drive collecting dust ever since Sonic 4 Episode 1 was the newest thing. Posted it on Newgrounds last year, but figured I'd post it here as well just for the heck of it:

The first and only remix I actually "finished", at least composition-wise. I know mastering/mixing is pretty much non-existant, but since I don't know a damn thing about music theory and never played any instrument besides a flute like 20 years ago as a kid, I'm still kinda proud of it, especially since I just hacked it together by starting from a .mid file.

Simple, but fairly enjoyable. I like those classic, nostalgic MIDI synths. If you ever decide to dabble in music again, I'll give a listen.

Sounds like something I heard from an old gem from my childhood, Perhaps the same music used in Tails' Nightmare 2? Though this track only has bits and pieces of it
