Mobile site statuses nitpick

So I always use the forum using my mobile device, and I know the setup has been like this for awhile, but with all the changes I think it’s as good a time as ever to bring it up. 
 

The status bar on the mobile sites main page has no way for me to upload images from my photo library anymore. The only way to do that is to go onto my actual profile page and make the status in question there. I’m just wondering if this is that a intentional design, or something that was overlooked that no one brought up before? (Should also bring it, the option is available to do in status replies on the main page) It’s not a huge deal, but it does kinda inconvenience still even if it’s just a little to have to go to my profile page to make a post, then go back a page to read the other statuses.
