XBOX ONE Lag With Classic Sonic Games

Hi all, hope everyone is keeping well.

 

I've recently been playing through the classic Sonic titles on my Xbox One and have been experiencing some sort of lag. I don't mean the sort of lag that was present on their original releases back in the 90's but more of what seems like a slow down and fits and starts during gameplay.

I first noticed it during a run through Sonic CD and now I'm have the same thing with Sonic 3&K. Has anyone else noticed this or is having the same issue?
