Games, comics, OVA. For me, this is one guy. Best story about him? IDK, this fic.

I remeber my friend felt Mecha Sonic and Metal Sonic were separate characters. I felt Mecha and Metal were interchangeable, and thus Mecha and Metal Sonic are one and the same. I do believe each version is unique and a seperate build, but perhaps at times the same core processor, as in the case of Mecha I, Titan Mecha, and Mecha V3. 

However, I think Silver Sonic is  a different robot, and Robian Mecha is merely Sonic roboticized. Neo Mecha I am not sure about.
