Do you guys ever get tired of people telling you Sonic is garbage

No one really tells me this bc I'm not all that vocal about my love for Sonic irl. Unless I'm talking about it with my brother who's also a fan. We're both over 25 though so we make it pretty clear we're mostly fans of older Sonic (pre-heroes) lol. I kinda get why people say Sonic sucks because the franchise simply isn't what it used to be.  ;-;
