How would you convince SEGA to improve the Sonic games?

So, what are some ways that you would convince SEGA to start improving the Sonic games?  Here's how I would go about it:

SEGA is a business and therefore, they would want to make lots of money off of their properties.  Since Sonic the Hedgehog is a franchise that not only caters to children, but can cater to adults as well, SEGA would need to bring back the spin off games again.  SEGA is in a much better position now business wise than they were years ago and since they are now making deals with Microsoft and other companies, maybe they could convince Microsoft or the other companies they established partnerships with to make some spin off games relating to Sonic the Hedgehog.  The spin off games can be geared towards the younger audience, since that's the audience they want to go for, while the main games could be geared towards the older audience, who want a more fleshed out story and gameplay for the series.  Even though SEGA had made it clear that they wanted the series to gear more towards the younger and casual audience, it would be a huge disadvantage if they didn't make some games that also catered to the older audience since they would be receiving double the money from both kids and adults who are fans of the games.

What do you think about this and what are some ways you would convince SEGA to improve the series?
