That's nice if it's real, but are we sure that it's legit and not another troll web page like it already happend a couple of times in the past? (can't remember what specifically, but it already happend that fake rumors were created by using registered web pages and such as proof... there was a Smash "leak" where they bought google ads to make it sound credible).

Here is comparison to official Colors website naming:

http://frontiers.sonicthehedgehog.com/

https://colors.sonicthehedgehog.com/

Missing S at the end "http" is just term for secure connection and it doesn't impact the validity of the website (fun technical stuff, you can google more about it). If you put anything like "word." ahead of sonicthehedgehog.com/ you will simply get message that it is impossible to connect to the server at that address. So, if the Frontiers link was fake completely, it wouldn't be possible to connect to the website at all

Besides that if you go to WhoIs.com and enter Frontiers's link it will return information about Sega Europe Ltd.

It is 100% legitimate link

That was posted yesterday at 3pm if you look at the timestamp... if a reveal was going to happen today, it would have happened already. So sorry to say, it's fake like 99.9% of 4chan leaks.

People really need to learn to not take every single rumor under serious consideration, especially 4chan ones.

I still incredibly doubt anything will be posted tomorrow either. I mean, I'm not going to hedge bets on it... But my point still stands, people put too much merit into these types of rumors. If it sounds too good to be true, or exactly like what you want to hear, most likely it's not true.

This guy on Reddit found that the official Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise page on Steam has updated the number of games and it went up from 34 to 35. Entries 30-34 are hidden IDs for Colors Ultimate with its DLCs. So, either page for Origins or Frontiers is coming soon

Probably Origins, but this is interesting.

I’m leaning towards that as well, but who knows, perhaps it is surprise in the form of Unleashed port đŸ€Ł

If they are going to reveal the movie trailer AND Origins AND Frontiers at TGA it is going to be insane. Even if it doesn’t happen there, the information we are getting right now indicates that something is going to happen very soon.

So looking forward to seeing what this is all about. All we can speculate on right now are leaks and scant details. Having more concrete information is going to take the hype/anti-hype train to the next level.

Wait, Sonic Colors Ultimate has DLC? Or will have DLC?

Anyway, this is interesting news. Probably Origins like CertifiedNobody said, but interesting, nonetheless.

you mentioned anti-hype train and now I remember that I need to temper my expectations

I want to believe that this game will be great but also we need to prepare for it being bad

my biggest fear is that this game will be like those "SEGA HIRE THIS MAN" videos where they put Sonic in a big empty open field with nothing interesting to do

i can already see the memes and jokes people will be making if it looks like this lol

Are they sure about this? Someone mentioned that it was at 34 in 2019 and a look in the wayback machine seems to confirm this

Have no idea. Because there is no other wayback machine page, I can’t tell how valid these numbers are. Since I don’t know how this Steam feature works, I can’t tell whether this data is correct or not. However, I did see person on Twitter claiming that they are regularly tracking info on Steam and that they are 100% certain that 30-34 refer to Colors Ultimate (and a lot of people seem to agree with him). Besides that, Atlus and Ubisoft also had change in game count on Steam ahead of TGA. There is also evidence that Atlus has been updating their Japanese Persona website, indicating that they are indeed have something to show soon.
Hopefully, there is better person in the thread to address this

Didn't a recent livestream from Sonic's Youtube channel say there's no game news for the rest of the year?

If Sonic appears at the TGAs it's either for the movie or for a last-minute change of plans.

I believe they said there are no plans for another Sonic Central, but didn't rule out game news in general

they still technically owe us news on Sonic Origins, they said "expect to hear more on Origins before the end of the year" or something like that lol

EDIT: yep they literally said "stay tuned for more information later in the year"
