August literally shows Sonic & Tails dying...

It's available now at Amazon [Affiliate Link Removed]. And some of the pages are comically terrible. The December page is the Sonic 1 game over/continue screen. One page is a glitch you can do in Casino Night.

But it does come with a free poster of the Green Hill Zone so it's well worth the price.

Anyway, this does look really weird for an officially licensed thing. I don't think I'd appreciate Sonic and Tails doing the death pose on my favourite calendar. The back of the calendar shows off the other images and they're similarly odd. Sonic glitching through Casino Night Zone... what?

The whole thing does reek of a cheap stock art collection, but I don't see the harm in the image of Sonic and Tails in their death animations. It just iconic retro Sonic imagery, and something mildly comic.

If you've not realised either, two of the pages are the same image just cut in half.

Look at the Sonic 1 victory image (top left) now compare it to the one of Tails (the one next to Knuckles doing the victory thing). They match up perfectly. The seal animal gives it away.

Hadn't noticed that and yep, it's cheap and nasty. But I mean it's just a £10 licensed calendar, you know? It's not offensively bad or anything. Just a bit naff.

Yeah that's pretty mid. Gotta love how half of them are Green Hill Zone even though there's like 30+ zones they could choose from across all the classic games haha.

[Wildcat]

A few shots seem random but the Casino Night image I could see maybe they thought it was him bouncing off the bumper and not glitching through the background. Same with Robotnik running on top of the loop since that’s unusual.

The death animations is really the only odd one.
