I just got my Archie Sonic the Hedgehog #1 graded and pressed!

I've owned the Archie Sonic the Hedgehog #1 comic for almost 16 years now, I've kept it safe ever since then, then about 2 months ago I decided I wanted to get it graded.  So I went down to my local comic book shop (and by local I meant over 10 miles away via the motorway) and got it graded.  It came back in the shop yesterday so I picked it up just now and I couldn't be happier.  To see that it got a 9.0 makes me incredibly happy as I don't think there has every been a copy of this issue to have been given a higher grade (although I could certainly be wrong about that).

Anyway I hope this doesn't get taken down for spam.  I really just wanna show this off as I have no where else to go with people who may understand this.

Definitely not spam, this is awesome! You've got a piece of history there, even outside of the Sonic fandom.

That is so cool! A lot of my copies of Archie Sonic are extremely worn, the covers have even fell off of some of them...and these are comics that are more around 10 years old xD Same story with many of my Pokemon cards...so it's pretty cool that you have the first issue in pristine condition!

Sadly not.  But I have read it many times since I got it and I'm more than satisfied with my decision. Besides I'm more into digital comics/books now because I lack shelf space or just space in general when it comes to physical media.
