WARNING: Download Sonic Frontiers DLC before starting a New Game!

Just a heads up from Official Sonic Twitter:

• If you purchased the Digital Deluxe, please install the DLC before starting a new game
• DLC content will not be valid if installed after the tutorial area
• Ensure you have the most recent patch before installing DLC
• If you pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe on Xbox and aren't seeing the digital art book in your library, you may need to search for and download it in the app section of the Xbox Store

Well, this is silly little fuck up from SEGA, isn't it? I went physical rather than digital, so I won't have all of the DD bonuses, but the physical game still comes with pre-order bonuses so I'll be sure to install those right away.

SEGA can not just have normal digital anything can they? It's like a roulette of whatever DLC they make will be standard or need some hoop jumping.

I know this is about dlc but why did sega not just make it so as you find secrets you could just unlock these items???
