Given that we're waiting around something of a year for them, I'm willing to bet they aren't going to be just simple reskins.

It'd be almost unthinkable for them to be simple reskins given that, as well as reskins are available right now in Sonic Speed Simulator.  Something treated as momentous probably will be, even if it doesn't end up being up to the standards of some fans.

One would also think, that with their streak of showing that they're listening and learning, that they wouldn't just repeat a case of Episode Shadow at the finish line as well.
