What if Eggman gets a niece in the future?

Since we've already got a figurative daughter in the form of Sage, what if in a future Sonic game, Eggman gets a biological niece as well? And these would be notable details:

• She would look identical to Maria (like how Professor Gerald is just an older-looking Eggman) and even have a similar personality.
• Like the rest of her family, she would have genius intelligence.
• Unlike Sage, she would NOT be on Eggman's side. She would instead be on the same side as Sonic.

The character she would most resemble is Hope Kintobor from the Pre-Reboot Archie Sonic comics, who was also a mechanical genius like the rest of her family and opposed their evil ways.
