The Eggperial City arc continues in IDW’s Sonic the Hedgehog #58, releasing today, featuring work from Ian Flynn, Thomas Rothlisberger, and Matt Herms.

While investigating Eggman’s urban sprawl, Sonic and the Diamond Cutters are separated, and Sonic is overwhelmed by the Badnik onslaught.

Sonic to Restoration HQ: Requesting backup immediately! The Eggperial City is too much for Sonic, Tangle, Whisper, and Lanolin to handle on their own, so it’s Tails, Amy, Silver, and Blaze to the rescue! With two teams on the case, surely victory will be achieved without a hitch, right?!

This month’s cover features art from Tracy Yardley, with some sweet variants from Abigail Oz and Nathalie Fourdraine. Issue #59 is expected to release on April 12.
