I would give me vote to Last Wish.

To those who haven't watched it yet: Yes, it was fantastic. A sequel to spin-off to over-milked cash cow was best animated movie of the year*. Sonic 2 wasn't even close.

*I didn't see Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, so there might be one rival for him.

Last Wish gets a ton of praise for being an extremely high quality film. It speaks well for what Paramount is doing with Sonic to be put on equal footing.

Okay, I thought Sonic 2 was super fun.

But Puss in Boots was in a league of its own.

I think Puss in Boots: The Last Wish was significantly better than Sonic 2. I enjoyed Sonic 2 a lot, but it was a little too much with the cheesy/lame humor and I don't think the human-centered parts were great at all. Still, the Sonic fan in me is happy they tied instead of Puss winning...how's that for bias? xP
