These, as OP puts it, were discovered in a material box DiC used for the pilot episode of Sonic SatAM, sent by SEGA themselves! These were created during the development of Sonic the Hedgehog 2, a whole 6-7 months before the game would be finalized! Included were sketches of 'American' Tails too!

The OP mentions they'll be sharing more things they scanned in the future, implying more unseen material. When the time comes a follow up thread/post will be made to showcase the material!
