Sonic Team has announced the official list of games that we can expect to find on Sonic Mega Collection. And if you were expecting a lot of Sega Mega Drive titles, well... you'd be right!

 

Here's the shortlist of games, straight from the official Sonic Mega Collection minisite:

• Sonic the Hedgehog (Mega Drive)
• Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (Mega Drive)
• Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (Mega Drive)
• Sonic & Knuckles (Mega Drive)
• Sonic 3D Flickies' Island (Mega Drive)
• Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine (Mega Drive)
• Sonic Spinball (Mega Drive)

 

It seems like the previously-reported list was a total fake. Check out the small selection of screens released to promote the compilation above, and be sure to check out the Japanese official site below for more details when it gets updated.
