Stupidest exchange of dialogue I have ever put down in a comic but its late and it made me laugh and I had no idea what was actually going to be said 'til I made this and aghghghgh gonna sleep haha. These are the only two pages so it ends here lol.

Just testing out a logo since I've hit a roadblock on my other webcomic idea and this one is fairly lighthearted/not some doom and gloom epic save the world complex thing. So I put it overtop of one of the comic pages just to see how it'd look and I like it :3

Waiting to hear back from a company over a pitch on Death King so I haven't gotten too far past the writing stage yet for issue 2, just in case I have to drastically change a lot of things if accepted.

So I want to start a simple webcomic.

I really like this idea!! I’m stuck with the shark girl one but this one is so SIMPLE and lighthearted overall that I think I’m gonna do it. Already built up a reference folder of japanese fishing villages/rural areas, and other various places too. She just thinks she is the reincarnation of a deity that beat the almighty fish god many many years ago and is cursed because she (or anyone else) can’t eat any of the fish she can summon out of thin air (or they disappear). She can still smack you with ‘em though!

Just the flats and a basic BG. I’ll probably just add a bit of a fish shadow in the bg or something, or leave it as is ‘cause its pretty simple and kinda looks cool to me that way.

Might i ask for a favour and see if there's any possibility that you would show us a step-by-step for a drawing. I'm curious how you produce your drawings and would love to watch it come together from the most basic stage all the way to completed.

I could try? But really most of my method can be summed up easily in this thread looking at some of my comic pages that are unfinished and then looking to the finished ones. My drawings tend to go from really rough sketch and jump straight into inks. I don't really follow a very clear and concise method on how I tackle everything :x

But if I ever find myself with some free time I can try but I doubt it'd be very informative since I kind of just jump right into it.

Finished the design sheet. Also I am going to turn this into a 5-6 page pitch for a couple companies. Gonna keep it PG13 to hopefully increase my chances of getting it picked up (so no intense gorey bits like Death King here, and toned down language too).

I saw this on a DA update from ya earlier, >D. Awesome stuff as always man. Your designs seriously keep blowing my mind for characters, it's pretty mind blowing. Everytime I try to make a character for something, they only have a small fraction of the complexity and originality you seem to put in yours.
