EDIT: After watching the EXTRA commentary, it was pretty much what I was thinking, he pretty much over exaggerated the AoSTH review to be funny. Really, most stuff he talked about wasn't anything we couldn't have already guessed.

What I got from nostalgia critic's review was that AoStH didn't really capture what it was supposed to capture in comparison. While it seemed like it was going in the direction of Looney Tunes, the Looney Toons and even Disney's comical shorts seem to have more effort put in them in terms of production. S'probably why they've lasted so long.
