Not Logging in Automatically

I've been experiencing a problem with the forums lately, in that I keep having to sign in manually. This is only happening with SSMB, nowhere else, and I have cleared my cookies. Any ideas?

EDIT: Using Firefox 2.0 btw. I've not updated since I'm not Linux savvy and it'd be a hassle.

Xandros I believe, on an EeePC. And it's the advanced version, not the easy mode that the system comes with. Virgin Media is my ISP.
