If Mario IS in the game, then he BETTER be wearing his red overalls and brown shirt! You hear me, SEGA? RED and BROWN! Otherwise everything will be RUINED!!

Not in an important cannon installment in this. Yeah I would love for Mario and Sonic to be in a full length narrative adventure together, just reaaaaaaally not this one.

If Sonic is in Galaxy then why not have Mario in this as a bonus? Personally I don't believe any of it.

Yeah I know but still... in Mario Galaxy it was a new adventure that had no intention of returning back to the past with Mario so it was acceptable for it have Sonic or even any other characters of any other game since it didn't target retro Mario fans only.

It isn't the case here where this game is targeting retro Sonic fans even if it's a new adventure for Sonic.
