Achievements usually are released a while before the game actually comes out, so I wouldn't say it was a leak, per se.

I know that but they arent normally revealed this far in advance and considering what they reveal I cant help but think this is a leak wether it be from SEGA or Microsoft. Hopefully AAUK will be able to comment on them.

Not very excited about Super Sonic myself. Even back as a tot, I always thought he made the game....pointless. I can't even remember the last time using Super Sonic in the classics, as I never bother with him when I go back to the old games.

Though I hope the final showdown using him is cool. Not confirmed but pretty obvious.

But the achievement says Clear the E.G.G. STATION ZONE without taking any damage. (40) , If it had acts, wouldn't they specify whether it was one of them or all of them?

Or there's also the chance E.G.G Station will be a single act stage with a boss at the end.

So from what I can tell, the game is going to have three acts for Splash Hill, Casino Street, Mad Gear and Lost Labyrinth making twelve normal levels, seven special stages and a special zone. Not sure how bosses work, but there should be at least four ordinary bosses and a fifth Super Sonic fight.

I was expecting Super Sonic to be playable again, but I'm still hapy we've got some real confirmation.

I gotta say though, I do hate Achievements like "Clear the first level" etc. They just don't really feel like...achievements.

Potentially also collect all seven emeralds, we don't know how easy or hard it is to get to special stages or how hard the special stages themselves are in this game.

Sonic 4 Episode 1. I think that all Episode included, Sonic 4 will be as long as 2 or 3K.

True, but 5 levels, even with 3 acts and a special level would still be a small game compared to the Genesis', and we can only hope that the episodes are released in succession and continue where the last left off.... the Chaos Emeralds are definitely an odd case.

This is how I see it going down -

4 revealed acts. 2 unrevealed acts. 1 final zone. That's the magic formula from Sonic 1.

Also. I don't think the third act and boss are separate, the boss is on the menu for convenience.

That means seven emeralds don't really fit in four zones. You strike out twice and Super Sonic is done.

So, 6 regular zones. 1 final zone. That's 12 chances to get those emeralds.

Really good to hear mention of E.G.G. Station. I was starting to think that was gonna show in another episode.

And Super Sonic? Hell yeah. What was the last game we got playable Super in??

I Like the idea of episode style game plus it cheaper than a full single game games on XBLA/PSN games just cost up to 5 to 10 pound while if you buy a full single game it would cost about 30 to 40 pound so i rather go with this than forking out 40 quid for a full game but that imo

Thing is, though, having an unlockable like Super Sonic in any episode of the game just feels like they're adding too much.

There is a reason why games are released as a single thing, so that all unlockables blend into it.

While episodic games may sound cool, then there really shouldn't be a lot extras.
