White Acropolis' "Snowy Peak" music's similarities to Stardust Speedway's US music. They sound a lot similar, like a remix.

Anybody else notice this? Isn't it a remix?

Hardly familiar with the US CD soundtrack, so I just went and listened to Stardust Speedway Present from it. I can hear some similarities, but I don't think there's actually anything there. Maybe if someone wants to make a comparison video it'd be more helpful.

Right now, I think it's a case like this. Similar sounding at times perhaps, but coincidence really.

But these are actually the same song. The Mazuri track obviously borrows from the Sonic 1 ending. It's a throwback. Adabat does this too.

Which track so you think Adabat sounds like? Never heard that before. I don't think Savannah Citadel Day isn't the Sonic 1 GG ending.

has the whistle sounds directly from
but I agree that there are very few similarities between White Acropolis and Stardust Speedway.

Hearing it at 2:50. When I first heard it in Unleashed it didn't sound new to me, and I'll be dammed if it was Sonic R that I was reminded of. Maybe it's just another sample that's been thrown up again. If I still knew which track it was, I'd find the a piece of music from Crash Bandicoot that uses some of the same samples as Jeh Jeh Rocket in Rush.

I used to think the

(starting at 00:30) sounded like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeViN0kt-aM. They start the same, but the tune takes them in totally different directions. Probably a coincidence, but the ice level connection was one I made immediately. Also, there's that thing where
sounds like a section of Green Hill at "And who knows what of our future". I think Bentley Jones has said he heard it, but it's entirely a coincidence.

I don't think you guys are listening to it very carefully, there is a part in both songs that sounds almost the same.

Here (Stardust Speedway US, 0:56): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcGaKacPFHY

And here (White Acropolis "The Snowy Peak", 2:04): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AyPhPy0FgUU

Sounds very similar.

Similar yes, but it's more than likely a coincidence since the notes are mostly different.

Though it is a neat similarity, but they don't sound the same.
