lol wow, that was certainly worth the wait, I bet that theres quite a few people buying those issues just for the Sonic 4 stuff, I wonder if you could get your money back if you returned the magazines? Mind you, I remember when one magazine said that it had exclusive look at Marvel Zombies the game... only to find it was 2 lines long and a rumour.

As for TSSZEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! Handling of the news.

Lol at him deleting my comments. He should definitely be crediting Blue Blood, after all he went out of his way to go get the mags and pay £9.98 for them then finding out the articles weren't the highlight they were made out to be. I know Blue Blood said it isn't a problem as he occasionally buys the mags anyway but still he should be credited for getting them and giving us the info. Also Tristan's article looks stupid without giving a source.

Wow, I've only heard a few things about Tristan and TSSZ from TSS and SSMB (the first times I've heard about it ever), and Tristan already seems like a total idiot to me.

Hate to bring this up again and I'm not trying to gather more sympathy for myself from folks but if you haven't already seen it Ekaje this is how bad of a person Tristan is.

On topic, with the classic mixing of music in each levels acts like in the classic games I wonder if we'll get classic boss music.

One of the recent magazine scans says there'll be no remixed musix. Lame, much?

Not really, it means all the music is original and not just "rehashes". Then we can get NEW classical tunes.

Lets hope they bring in some new tunes that have the same effect as the classic games music did, new music but with a retro feel.

Yeah, that's the thing I'd heard from TSS that I was referring to, that was the first time I'd ever heard of him, and I've only heard more bad things (though not as bad as that) since.

EDIT: Before anyone clicks on Crash's link, in the event you have not wasted enough time on the internet to know what ED is, it's very NSFW. Though there's only one VERY NSFW image on that page, but there's also the ads (yes, even the ads are sometimes NSFW).

On Topic: So, looks like there isn't anything new other that the screenshots. Though I already knew that, since everytime we get new info, the forum explodes, which didn't happen.

Almost forgot about his assault on that woman, that too is just low and unforgiveable.

Yeah I agree that music is one of the stronger points in Sonic games, love Richard Jacques, Crush 40 and Bentley Jones. Would be cool if Richard Jacques does some music for this game, have they announced who's doing music for this game? Can't remember if we've heard anything on that subject.

Well the only person known doing the music is Jun Senoue (Sound Director of Sonic 4) at the moment, I would love to hear some Richard Jacques,Fumie Kumatani and Howard Drossin music in Sonic 4:)

I would have loved to hear say every Act 3 being a remix of something classic, or one of the special stage tracks returning.

I would love this to return to be quite honest, I'd perfer it over Sonic 2 & Sonic 3 special stages music to make a come back, but in each special stage the song takes a different style on each of the 7 chaos emeralds I would quite like that

Speaking of special stage music, I wonder what kind of tune they'll use for these Sonic 1 type special stages the game has. It better be something like the original music in Sonic 1's special stages, that music matches the whole bizarre entrancing environment so we'll need a tune that gives that same feel as you play.

Awesome idea! It would be verry..how to say this...It would get the adrenalin pumping when entering a thirt stage that looks just like the two you played just before. It would reboot the feeling of that Zone.

I had thought that the "different mixes per act" was already confirmed?

It was. But to hear something like:

  • SHZ Act 1: Splash Hill variation 1
  • SHZ Act 2: Splash Hill variation 2
  • SHZ Act 3: Emerald Hill remix

would be utterly brilliant.

I'll have a scan of the GamesMaster page in about 10 minutes. It's a shame there's no new info mentioned though.

CSZ Act 1: Casino Street variation 1

CSZ Act 2: Casino Street variation 2

CSZ Act 3: Casino Night Zone Multiplayer remix

Yes please!

Thanks Stasis!

Motion control???? Where did they hear that? They don't say it's confirmed though but I can't imagine what motion control would add to the game unless maybe it works with that tilting platform concept art we saw in a way motion control works for certain platforms in NSMB Wii.

Endri says you rotate you control the world itself instead of Sonic in the special stages. Triggers on the the 360, or motion controls on the PS3/Wii.

Oh yeah, I forgot he said that. My mind's seriously not with it today, probably all these tablets I'm on  You really weren't kidding about the size of the GM article Blue Blood, really hate the way these mags make out something like this is a big highlight part of the mag on their covers/packaging.

Hope this return of GamesMaster's TV show gives Sonic more love than the mag is currently doing though the mag is also getting a make-over when the TV show relaunches.

I bet you can choose on PS3/Wii how you want to controll the Special Stages. At least on PS3.

I'm sure the Wii version will have a classic controller option. If the tilting works perfet it could be fun, but I don't want any wonky motion controls keeping me from kicking ass and taking names as Super Sonic any longer than needed.
