The site has pop ups?

And I'm using IE... so according to mass hysteria I should have a truck load of them! But no pop ups from me. My pop up blocker is on, but other than banner adverts, I can't honestly say that I've ever had a pop up... pop up on SSMB except for when I used to turn on PM notifications with the pop up function.

Could be that you have some kind of spyware or virus even that causes pop-ups on sites that shouldn't be having them. Run a test to make sure you don't have anything (in case you're not sure what to use, Ad-Aware and Spybot for spyware, and Trend Micro for viruses if you don't already have some kind of anti-virus program on your computer).

There are no popups on our website, forum or anywhere else. Unfortunately it looks like you've got some spyware on your computer. I suggest trying Lavasoft Ad-aware (they have a free version) to dig out those nasty bastards. :)

No. I'm talking about popup advertisements. It gets annoying.

One more thing, it was ONLY on The Sonic Stadium website.

What do the pop-ups contain?

I never get pop ups on this site. I have a feeling you may have some sort of Spyware. I'd look into finding out what it is, and using an Anti-Virus program to remove it.

Actually, earlier today, I came on these forums from a different computer and I got a pop-up. (I make darn sure I don't get any on MY computer. ;)) And like Adek said, it was only for this site. So unless that computer had spyware on it, then I think this might be a legit problem.
