I know that it's only a list, a result of many different people's contributions, and as a result nobody's ever going to 100% agree with all of it (in fact, there isn't much that can divide people on forums more than Top Games lists), but I still have to voice my dismay and horror that mediocre-to-awful titles like Daikatana, Halo 2 and Shadow the Hedgehog can be rated higher than masterclasses in game design like Metro 2033, Metroid Prime and Red Dead Redemption. It beggars belief, it really does. I know that it's all a matter of taste, but I... I simply cannot fathom how anyone can be so backwards!

Ace job on the video by the way Biafra, really liking it, but the way some of the votes went is a real travesty...

Events like this need to be heavily advertised across the boards to get the level of participation necessary to end well, and they need to be at times when lots of people are home and can take part; winter holidays, for example. Additionally, the subject itself may have been a limiting factor. How about we try a Top 100 Movies next? I'm sure more people here must have favourite movies than have favourite videogames.

Oh well, you live and learn.

Edit: For similar reasons, I'm pretty doubtful that the reason this didn't meet expectations for participation had anything to do with the time it was done or the subject matter it covered.
