What happened to links opening in separate windows?

Not a major problem, but I just think it's kind of annoying to click on a link here and be sent to another page in the same window. I could've swarn pre-wipe that clicking on links would open up separate windows... Help? =p

But then again I am using Chrome, 'wonder if that's a factor in this?

It happened to me when I used explorer too, but now I just right-click links and open them in new tabs.

Yeah, I noticed this a while back, too. Minor annoyance, but as mentioned, I've just made a habit of right-clicking them to open in new tabs.

If you're using a modern internet browser, consider using the following widely adopted (windows) shortcuts:

• Middle click (mouse 3) to open the link in a new tab
• Ctrl+click to open the link in a new tab
• Shift+click to open the link in a new window

It's best to let the user decide if they want to open a link in a new window/tab. It's much more annoying to automatically open a new window/tab when a link is clicked when you don't expect it (or when it's absolutely not needed).
