To be fair, a lot of cartoon robots have organic looking mouths. See: XJ9 from My Life as a Teenage Robot, Grounder, Scratch, the SatAM version of Uncle Chuck, the robot Sally...

Best not to question it. :|b

I bet it's already been mentioned but the Silver variant is the San Diego Comic-Con exclusive while the Tails #241 will probably be the New York Comic-Con exclusive

Picked up archives 18 today. Not too shabby but King Max is such a douche. He always has been mind you but yeesh. If one character dies that deserves it, I'd be happy if it was him.

The reformed metal sonic guy mentioned that Silver's powers screw up electronics, guess how I think they're going to capture mecha sally.

By screwing up her electronics? Wouldn't the power ring she runs on negate that problem?

And I thought he said that only if he makes it screw up the electronics? Eh...

What ever happened to Crab meat? I'm reading the older comics as I said. But I have a feeling he's going to be killed off :(

Same with Scratch and Grounder.

The last issue I read involved Sonic being invisible due to exposure from Anti-matter from being caught up in a bombs explosion to open a door to escape. I gotta say that's a pretty big explosion just to open a door. Did Rotor test how much power the bomb had before giving it to Sonic?

Crabmeat and the rest of the old Badnicks were sent to The Island for Misfit Badniks (and I think Sonic sunk the island too)

Scratch, Grounder, & Coconuts work at Mogul's Casino

I'm Back! and this is a whole written of topics I discussed in my absences :

Starting from October 2011 to now :

Should have done before hand and put this all in at one time :

I guess I should say this, cause I've been thinking about it recently, but didn't want to say anything yet.

With Ian, it seems to me that anytime someone criticizes his work, or predicts what will happen in a future storyarc or issue, he gets defensive, to the point that he will/might ban those people from his message forums.

The reason I say that, is because I think, he knows that he can't fool the long-time fans anymore. Not saying he can't do good stories and at times pull some unseen surprises out of his hat, but I think he's starting to run out of story ideas, because with this Sally situation, it's almost a repeat of the Knuckles/Enerjak story in someway or a longer extension of the story from #29, whatever the reason, he's running out of ideas, in my opinion.

You know, if I was in Ian's shoes, Instead of banning folks like you, me and your friends, he should have just put in his rules for his board, that he's trying to attract new readers/fans and if the veteran readers would not spoil the surprises for the new readers by asking certain questions. To me, that would have been simpler, and I'm sure that might have helped.

The only reason for this blow up is because he did something fans old and new don't like or feel is unnecessary, and that's turn Sally into what she will/has become, even if it is for a few issues or so. I really don't think he expected this kind of a response from all sides of the fanbase. I mean, did he actually think everyone would be just ok with it? I wouldn't have. I would have been prepared for the backlash that I knew was/would be coming, if I was Ian that is.

So in closing, again I say this, knowing Ian, this may be all a nightmarish dream Sonic's having, just like he did in a certain webcomic, plus, I also get this feeling, that after it's all said and done, that many fans (here @ the SMS Forums and other Sonic related sites) will probably not even consider this canon, in other words, just act and pretend that it never happen at all, which I feel many will do.

As well as in final closing, I say this and ask this question, What would you have done If you were in Ian's shoes? Plus, here's my advice, if you have the SatAM DVD Box Set, watch that to bide the time while you wait or read the issues up till or before 225 and Genesis to again bide the time till her situation is over and done with. That's just my advice, because that's what I would do to bide the time.

Here's the thing with Ian, as with some NEW head writers that take the reigns of a poplaur comic, they always want to put their own spin on things, and take the comic in a direction they want, instead of relying on what made the comic popular in the first place.

Now sometimes this is a good thing to have happen, and sometimes it's a bad thing, or in the case of someone like say Ian, it could end up as a converstional thing. The reason I say this, is because some NEW head writers do a such a good job that fans old and new keep coming back for more. However if the NEW head writer does a bad job the fans won't want to read the book no more and thus sales are at times effected, both newsstand and subscription wise. Now if a NEW head writer starts out converstionally, fans old and new may be up in the air, because they won't know what the heck that head writer has planned, because they don't know if it will be good or bad, because if it's good, their want to see more, if it's bad, then they won't want to see anymore of it.

Now with Ian, some of things he's done, with Fiona's change of character possibly at the top of the list, as well as some of the character deaths that he did, some good in the eyes of the fans (Tommy) and some not needed (Locke).

But let's not forget, he also has done what many consider some of the most horrendous storyarc's out there, with the Iron Dominion saga which last about a year, which also had a spin-off in the Journey to the East 4-part mini-series in Sonic Universe possibly at the top of that list. Now me, personally I had no problem with this saga, but I can fully understand other fans frustration with it.

As for covering his rear and banning people who criticize his work, I can fully understand that, because I've been and am currently there myself. And in my opinion, he just doesn't like when people figure his storyarc's out and call him out on it.

Now as far as 232 goes, word going around is Ian is NOT HAPPY with Big Wayne Comics relieving the official cover of 232 so soon. Well the way I see it, and I said this before on other sites and on the YT, he's eventually going to slip up along the way with this storyarc, and well here's one of those slip up's he didn't see or should have seen coming. I mean (no offense) does Ian think we're that dumb, I mean if he's doing this to attach more NEW readers, I can fully understand that, but when comes to long-times readers, who's he kidding.

Now before I end this, let me clear something up, I don't hate Ian Flynn, as matter of fact I respect him for being the first fan or least one of the first fans to become a writer (head or not) for the comic. The only problem I have with him, is he doesn't make himself clear when he's working on the stories for the comic, in other words, he doesn't give a straight answer when it comes to what he plans to do in the stories contained within the comic. I only wish he would just come out and tells straight forward what he has planned for the future of both Sonic Comics when it comes to stories, not play games.

I know no one really listens at times to my videos, so I will say it in text.

Sally's situation is possible for the big storyarc coming very soon. Now Ian did't say it was permentery, nor did he say it was tempory, all that was reported by TSSZ was that Sally would be roboticized going forward, but we all know that doesn't mean forever. Many media outlets in comics, television and even in movies have been known to do that and never last.

A few good examples are, and I mentioned this before, Chibiusa Moon from Sailor Moon. When she returns to the future with Sailor Moon, Chibiusa becomes Black Lady (Wicked Lady in the English adaptation) when she is captured outside of the Palace. Wiseman comes across the lonely Chibiusa, who is feeling frustrated after a failed attempt to revive her mother, and twists her memories of her family to make her do his bidding. Wiseman converts her by laying the seeds of guilt for what she has done, and by telling her nobody loves her. He makes her feel that her parents didn't want her. So he said he would take great care of her and decide to join forces

Infected with the power of the Black Crystal, she grows older, donning an organdy and satin dress and the earrings worn by the Black Moon Clan. Her hair becomes even longer than Usagi's. Her crescent becomes that of the Clan, and she is frequently seen with Prince Dimande or Wiseman. As Chibiusa's dream is to become a beautiful lady like her mother, Black Lady's form is something like a femme fatale.

Her history and personality differ between the anime and the manga. In the anime, Black Lady hates her family and the Sailor Senshi and tries to kill them because she believes she is unloved. She also considers her toy, Luna-P, as her only friend. In the manga, she throws away the Luna-P after her transformation and derides it as a childish toy.

Black Lady uses her brainwashing powers to try to seduce her future father, Mamoru Chiba, and tries to destroy the Senshi for their various acts of insensitivity toward her. She first appears in Act 20 of the manga and Episode 85 of the anime. In the anime, Black Lady tries to kill Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, but is saved from her anger by Sailor Moon, who changes into Neo-Queen Serenity and embraces her daughter, allowing her to turn back into Chibiusa. In the manga, her sorrow over the death of Sailor Pluto shatters Wiseman's power over her, her tears activating the future Silver Crystal, and she changes into Sailor Chibi Moon for the first time.

Another example that I've mentioned before has been Cammy From the USA Network cartoon of Street Fighter. Cammy is the central focus of a sub-plot in the second season. She is brainwashed by Bison and becomes one of his underlings, fighting her former allies (both Street Fighters and Delta Red) during the remainder of the series. However, she turns on Bison when she learns that he had killed her parents, and switches sides back to her original allies.

Someone even mentioned Willow From Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Dark Willow is preternaturally focused on revenge, relentless and unstoppable. Lights explode when she walks past. She forcefully takes advantage of any opportunity to further her goals. She saves Buffy by removing the bullet from her chest, but later commandeers a tractor trailer, making it slam into Xander's car while he and Buffy are inside protecting Jonathan and Andrew, the other two members of the Trio. She floats, teleports herself at will, and dismantles the local jail where Jonathan and Andrew are held. She is cruelly honest to Dawn and Buffy, and overpowers everyone with whom she comes in contact. When she takes Giles' magic from him, she gains the ability to feel the world's pain, becoming determined to put the world out of its misery. She does not acknowledge her grief, and only Xander can force her to face it when he tells her that he loves her no matter what or who she is, and if she is determined to end the world she must start by killing him. Only then does Willow return, sobbing. Her dark side continues to be a part of Willow. A story arc in Season Eight has Buffy travel 200 years into the future to battle and kill Dark Willow. Present-day Willow is aware of her capabilities, ever watchful of what she may turn into.

Heck even sport teams try to change and supposly go forward with a new logo and look. Take The Washington Redskins for example a few years back. In 2002, the team celebrated the passing of 70 years since its creation as the Boston Braves in 1932, and wore a special home uniform of burgundy jersey over gold pants which roughly resembled the home uniforms used from 1969-1978. The helmets used with this special home uniform during that year were a reproduction of the helmets used by the team from 1965-69. And as you can see that didn't last long but for one season.

Even retail stories and companies have done this, Said they this new logo will be the logo going forward, prime example, GAP. Gap. They released their new logo last year, and it was a huge disaster. The old logo was well-loved and familiar to all, used for more than two decades. The dark blue square with the familiar serif white font was well-loved and familiar, almost homey.

Gap’s mistake was radically changing everything. The logo was designed by Laird & Partners, in the effort to create a more contemporary and modern expression. Personally I think the new logo is not great, it looks more like a clip art from Microsoft than a “contemporary, modern logo.” I was not alone in this opinion. There was a public outcry when it was released online, major backlash and criticism poured on Gap’s Facebook and Twitter page. Some harsh criticisms include: ‘looks like a child made it’, ‘a joke’ and ‘amateur’. It only gets worse. Gap chose to remain silent about all the controversy, when they finally responded it added more fuel to the fire. Gap tried to handle its blunder by covering the whole thing up. Gap posted on their official Facebook page, thanking everyone for their input on the logo. They are ‘thrilled to see a passionate debate unfolding’, and asked the online community to share their designs. They ended the statement with: ‘we love our version but we would like to see other ideas’. People were laughing with disbelief over Gap’s response. They dismissed their error as a so-called social experiment, and still had the nerve to ask designs from others. The story ends with Gap ditching their new logo, and returning to their old one. Gap president Marka Hansen was fired by execs weeks after the failed redesign episode. Moral of the story? Don’t mess with a well-loved brand and image valued at $4 billion. As the old adage says, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!

What I'm saying, is that even though, Ian says Sally will be robotized going forward, doesn't mean it's forever, just for the upcoming storyarc and possible as Paul said to deal with her story of possible regaining her free will, but learning to cope with what's happen to her and trying to find a way to reverse it, perhaps a Sonic Universe Arc will be done to coinsde with it, who knows.

But going forward doesn't mean permentery or temporary, it overall means just for the time being, not forever.

But it's kind of ironic that Ian Flynn says that the effects will last a year or over that, or at least until the next mega point/milestone, which in this case is 250.

The reason I say this, is because despite how you feel about the source, the Mobius Ecyopedia has the 250th issue still listed, with no 251 listed afterwards, but yet and maybe I'm not really paying attention that much to it, it seems Sonic Universe has had another issue added after 43, so what does that tell me, well I'll tell what it may be saying to me as a long-term fan.

With the news that Ian will be taking on more in 2012, with Mighty Cursaders, more Mega Man and who knows what else. I feel that his time on the Main Sonic Comic is coming to close, but so maybe the comic itself. Why? You may ask. Because when he and Paul said that the effects will last a least a year or over that till possibly 250, ironically, 250 will be released in the summer of 2013. 2013? You may wonder "Why that year"?, because for those that don't know and I can't recall any fan that wouldn't know, that will mark the 20th anniversey of the Main Comic itself and SatAM. So I guess in Ian and Paul's mind's, what better way to have it come to close, then by having it come to a final conforation with the longest and most personal, (from a character standpoint) storyarc ever done for the comic itself.

This would explain why, according to on-site reports at the New York Comic--Con, why Sally will be Mecha Sally going forward. Now like I said before in pervious posts and Youtube Videos, I don't think her condition will last forever, or that she will be Eggman's slave for that long. However, wither she's restored to her normal body or just giving back her free will, there's no doubt (despite how some fans feel about it) that she will play a huge part in what could be the grand finale for the comic.

Now you add that in, with talk in the past, that Zonic of the Zone Cops will be involved soon, Silver looking for the traitor plot, Nagus being King, and possibly (from my prespective) time-travel, it would only make sense.

And even if this is all true, which I'm not saying it is or isn't, Sonic will still be published by Archie Comics thru Archives, Select books, Magazines, legacy books and a who's who ecyopedia, as well as possibly Sonic Universe sticking around, but I get this feeling that this new mega arc that Ian say's he's working on, could quite possibly be the last one ever for the Main Comic.

All I'm waiting for, is for Ian, Paul and Mike to make some kind of annoucment in San Diego next year at the Comic-Con there, that this may be it for the comic, not saying it will be, but I just find it ironic that all this happening all at once.

Now I know, if that annoucment was to be made, many fans may/will rejoice at the fact that the comic's coming to an end, while many other fans may/will be sad about it, while others will be like, "Hey, it had a good run, it's got a world record in Guinness and it will be a part of Comic Book History for generations to come." But this is only if that annoucment is made next year, which I feel it maybe. But hey I've been wrong in the past/present before.

Overall, this is just a feeling, that as a Iong-time fan and reader/subsciber of the comic, that I'm getting, that's all it is.

But do you have this same feeling as well?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

2011, I know this is early but I have to say what a year it has been for the Sonic the hedgehog comic book.

I mean from the aspects of both the main comic and the universe spinoff, it has indeed been quite a year. From the story arcs that were provided to us in Sonic Universe to the very controversial story arc known as Genesis in the main comic, one can say that 2011 was the year of not only the overall 20th Anniversary of the Sonic franchise but as far as the comics published by Archie comics was indeed the most controversial, disappointing, surprising, and electrifying year in its near 20 year existence.

With Sonic Universe, we started out with the final part of the treasure team tango arc which then allowed us for the next four months after that to read what many have considered to be evidence that the head writer doesn't stay true to his word (in the eyes of some) because even though it was a 4 – part story arc featuring and starring Silver the hedgehog, it was also a soft adaption of the head writer's web – comic that he made while he was still a fan of the comic book, which he entitled Other – M, and even though this was a fairly decent story arc that was enjoyed by many fans. Some of those fans along with fans that didn't read the Silver arc were upset at the fact that the head writer had gone back on his word. The reason was because he had said he would not use any elements from his Other – M Web – comic and yet in this 4 – part arc he did just that.

Now after the Silver arc we got something new and different, a 4 – part Universe arc-based around original characters created for the comic and these characters were called the Suppression Squad and the main focus of this arc was for them to break their leader out of the Zone Penitentiary. This of course was done at the urging of their leader's girlfriend Fiona Fox. This was of course a success which many fans enjoyed due to the backstories of the Squad.

The final story arc in the 2011 run of the Universe comic is once again game based and this time stars the Babylon Rogues and so far by the cover previews and descriptions it seems that it will be another interesting four-part story arc.

With the main comic we dealt with a lot, we actually started the year out on a positive note in the eyes of many long-time fans when the head writer finally decided to put Sonic and Sally back together as a couple. This of course occurred in the February issue which was numbered 222 and again many fans, long-time fans enjoyed what they saw and read and felt that it was a relaxing break from the norm. Now many other fans didn't like what they saw and read, mostly they did not like the character of Amy Rose being portrayed as someone that loves Sonic enough, that not only does she still believe in her heart that she will be together with him in the future/someday, but if being with Sally makes him happy then that makes her happy and that's all that matters. As I mentioned before many fans enjoyed this while many other fans did not.

The other character that got some development even more so than before was Nicole. This development was based off her situation during the Iron Dominion arc that ran and dominated most of 2009 and into the early portions of 2010. The development was not only to make Nicole more than just an A.I., but to make her more real just like her friends to the point that in one issue she ran off crying due to the lyrics of one character's song that mostly seemed to target Nicole. But thanks to an unlikely friend she has learned or is learning to cope with the situation as well as try to find a way to win back the citizens trust.

The character that I mentioned above was another character that got some long overdue development and that character was Mina Mongoose. As I mentioned above she was the one that sang the songs and wrote the lyrics that basically demanded or protested that Nicole no longer be in control of their city. The reason for this was due to the fact that Mina was having, well let's put it this way, Vietnam/postwar traumatic nightmares of Nicole losing control once again just like she did briefly when she was under the control of the Iron Queen. Now her development, Mina's is that is, was not only this with the song that she wrote but also due to the fact that later on she found out that for most of the Iron Dominion's control of the city that Nicole was acting as a double agent and not only that but in the 222nd issue she sees that perhaps her doing what she did was perhaps not the best idea and I think she tries to make up for it later on.

Another character that got a push in 2011 was St. John. This surprise push revealed a few things, one that he was a ixis wizard/apprentice and that perhaps he wasn't as loyal to the kingdom as he seemed to be in the past. His betrayal if you will led to him restoring his master, Nagus back to sanity with a chaos emerald as well as trying to convince the people and Royal Council that his master was not only promised the kingdom's throne long ago but that his master was more suited to be king then the current king who happens to be Sally's brother. St. John's future will be revealed along with his reasoning behind his betrayal as well as the answer that all fans want about his wife Hershey will be answered in the next few months.

This of course overall lead us to the 225th anniversary issue of the comic which was a prologue/prelude to the four-part Genesis story arc which dominated most of the summer and many felt was a good summer arc while others didn't feel that same way and felt that it was overshadowed by wondering what would happen or would be happening to the Princess Sally character who apparently was shot to death off panel at the end of 225 and this of course led us into Genesis which when you look at it now it seems like a loose adaption of the recently released game "Sonic Generations". Now Genesis did have some nostalgic moments and gave us an idea of what it would be like or would have been like if Sonic and his friends met while they were still young teenagers and not as kids. Again though this was all overshadowed by fans who like and don't like the Sally character and wondering what her fate would be.

This of course leads us into the issue that was released just last month. Even though at first many fans speculated as to what her fate would be from the cover preview of 231 with the shadowy silhouette on the cover with the ?, and then having that same ? being shown on the cover of 232, most fans pretty much knew what her fate would be. This was further proved correct when Big Wayne's Comics accidentally, if you want to look at it that way, revealed the official official cover of 232 which showed and revealed a robot Sally that was hidden if you will behind that ?, which many fans were not happy about and many fans were happy about.

Now the head writer said at the New York Comic Con that Sally would be like this going forward. However many fans like myself feel that this is not true and even though I'm a fan that's stuck in the middle and has sworn not to read or review any of the current issues to come including 230 due to the fact that I want to see where they go with this and also because as I have mentioned before many times on these forms and on YouTube, going forward just means for the time being and not forever, in other words it's just for the upcoming story arc that will lead us into the 250th anniversary issue which I have stated could be, not saying it will be, but could be the final issue of the overall main comic.

Now the reason I say that 250 could be the last issue is because it's so ironic that all of this within the comics continuity is occurring as we speak. Also with the news that the head writer will be writing more not just for the Universe spinoff but also for the Mega-Man comic as well as for the revival of The Mighty Crusaders comic, this just gives me a feeling that either the Comic will come to end or the head writer will be replaced by a new head writer.

To say 2011 hasn't been a controversial, and electrifying year for the Sonic the hedgehog comic book would be an understatement. Because many fans had moments they loved and moments that they hated and whether they're divided or together fans overall have seen many many controversial moments that they have felt were either necessary or unnecessary.

One thing is for certain though, the head writer in the eyes of some if not many still continues to do a great job while in the eyes of many others he has literally stepped in it to the point that it will take multiple among multiple if not millions and billions of cleanings to get the you know what off his shoes clothes.

All we can do now as fans overall is just wait and see would 2012 has to offer.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was looking at and comparing the similarities and difference between the Mecha Sally Storyarc and the Classic Dark Phoenix Storyarc.

The similarities are :

1. The Freedom Fighters have to fight Sally (whither they want to or not), Same as the X-Men fighting Jean when she was the Dark Phoenix (whither they wanted to or not)

2. Jean as The Dark Phoenix doing thing things that she couldn't control, but yet enjoyed in it. Sally as Mecha Sally doing things she couldn't/can't control, but yet could possibly find joy in it.

3. Jean had abilities (she normally wouldn't have) when she was the Dark Phoenix, Same with Sally in her Mecha Form (ex. Force field? see SU #38 cover for info)

4. An outside force being the one to take Jean out, That being the Sha'ir (depending on which media version you read or watch {she either died or lived}), and the same could possibly be said for Silver being the outside force that could take Sally out (yet we don't know that), because Sally is too popular .

Now I know some will read this and repeat that Ian has said that the comic could survive without Sally in it. Which was proven from issues 53-67 (main stories only), she did appear though in issues 53-67 (in the backstories). It was even proven in issues 126-129 (exc. being a doppelganger created by E.V.E in 127 I think). But yes it has being proven in the past.

However, since Ian;s talked her up a lot and gave her huge backing, when he said she was the strongest female in the comic, some/many find it hard to believe that he would do her in (in any fashion), but yet there are those that take his words with a gain of salt.

But that's basically what the video was about.

Give credit to Zaranyzerak @Facebook and Youtube for giving me the idea for the comparison.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now as I mentioned in the video version of this which you can see on YouTube, I basically said that the reason we as fans are not used to seeing Sally in this manner even though I did not really specifically name her in that video, the reason I said that is because as long-time fans of the comic as well as the Saturday morning cartoon we as fans this includes even myself are used to looking at her like that, then what we are looking at her as now. The reason being is we're not used to it, nor will we ever get used to it no matter how long it goes for.

And now with the modifications that the head writer has allowed the villain to do to Sally, it makes us as fans not like it even more so than before. Now one can argue and say that we should allow the story arc to play out before we jump to conclusions and others will say that she needed this change to not only redeem herself in the eyes of those that are about who saw she was misused due the works of previous writers, but then also in the end it will hopefully make him more likable.

All that may be true and probably is, but again it goes back to the fact that we're not used to seeing her like this and it makes us as long-time fans hope and pray that she is return to normal sooner than later. In fact one reviewer on YouTube to quote something he said in his latest review I believe speaks for a lot of those that are not happy with what's going on, and I quote from his review, "oh crap" and "this does not look good" . Those are small quotes and sayings from the YouTube member and Sonic fan known as SonicComicWorld or SCW for short. And believe me for what I have seen and heard him say in previous reviews and topic discussions he ain't to happy about what is happened in the comic so far.

Speaking of fans like SCW, there are many or (to easy up a little bit around places like this) about the same amount, if not 10% more fans out there at the other Sonic message boards and forums as well as surprisingly at YouTube and at the most popular and recognized artistic/fan artistic website out there called Deviantart or DA for short. Now some of you may say it's a small majority at DA that's against what is happened, but let me tell you this it's a lot bigger than you think. Because when you search for fan art based around Sally you will see a lot of fan art at Deviantart on her original design, now yes I understand a lot of you will say that "the reason we see more of the original Sally design is because the robotic one is very new and we have yet to see what the robotic one can do in action." Now this is true and even though we have seen some fan art based on the robotic design it seems that fan artists seem to be countering that with more fan art at Deviantart based on her original design. And when you look all over the DA website you see not one, not two, and not even three, but a good chunk of groups that are dedicated to the Sally character, to the Saturday morning show which she came out of it and was introduced to us from, but also supporting her romantic relationship with a certain blue hedgehog. Now there are probably a few groups dedicated to the robotic Sally, but yet there is one group that just begun this past week which is against the robotic Sally and even though it may look small believe me when I say in short possible due time membership to that group will grow and might have more say along with those on the various Sonic message boards and forums than one can imagine.

Now you may sit there and read this and say that "I'm dreaming, it's never going to happen , give it up, grow up, leave it alone and etc." and you may have a point but let's not forget one thing, and I know this may seem strange using these two things as examples but I think it kind of fits for this scenario.

1. The SOPA and Protect IP Acts that Congress and the house of legislation were trying to pass into law. No one thought at first that there would be no stopping them from passing but yet the whole Internet community even those as you would probably say are small fishes swimming in a big pond or ocean surrounded by bloodthirsty sharks with no chance of surviving have all the sudden not only survived but come out victorious, and that is what happened when the entire Internet community and even though small websites and corporations came together to voice for their disapproval and disdain for what these acts could have done to the Internet overall.

Now you may say to yourself and ask what does this have to do with anything that he is talking about,. Again even though they were strange examples to use it shows you that you cannot judge something like this DA group that's against the robotic Sally just yet, nor can you judge those that you call at times obsessive Saturday morning Sonic fanboys/fangirls because if you keep judging them, you may wake up one day and find out that they have accomplished their goal.

What is that goal you may ask? Well it's real simple. To not only restore Sally to normal, but to show Ian Flynn that he could have done things differently instead of going this route or with no disrespect when I say this because quite honestly I don't want to see it happen to him, have him removed as the head writer of the main comic or even going as far as have him removed from Archie comics altogether. That my friends is their goal, the first one being the main goal.

However to shed some light for you all that think this is nothing more than bashing let me tell you this there are those even at this anti-group that are saving their coming judgment for either later this month when 234 comes out or into a few issues later, because only then will they serve judgment on how they feel Ian Flynn is doing as a head writer. That judgment being if he is still worthy at a chance to redeem himself heading into the 250th anniversary issue or if it's time for him to be shown the door or just removed as the head writer.

Honestly I'm just going sit back along with many others and see what unfolds. However in closing let me say this , if I was in Ian's shoes and because what I wrote or was going to write, If I knew it was going to cause even more dissension among the fan base with what I'm writing in the comic as a storyarc, as crazy as this sounds I would've made a proposal to the board of directors at Archie comics and even to those representing Sega of America or just the Sega Corporation in general that this story arc and even the anniversary issue of 225, that we should do a separate alternate comic of the main comic book with the same story and storyarc, but in this alternate comic book have it more focused on what many feel the comic book (the main one) should be focused on more so and that is the game characters. Because knowing that my decision to turn one of the most popular female characters, if not the most popular female character in the comic into a robotic slave for the main villain to use, that I would be why I would make that suggestion to do an alternate comic of the main comic and storyarc. Now some of you may say that's a dumb idea and some you may agree that it probably would been better than what we are seeing right now. Because you would be giving everyone overall in the fan base what they want.

Honestly though to get back on topic here, as I was saying everything that I mentioned above is the main reason we as long-time fans like things and characters the way they are and for no matter how long, we cannot get use to seeing a character or thing in a different form.

And before I go let me use one more example as to why as long-time fans we cannot get used to seeing Sally into robotic form. This example uses two of the most iconic animated characters or in this case animated couples in the history of animation and even comic book's. And that couple/characters are Mickey and Minnie Mouse. Now the example I will use is by question and that is, What would your reaction be if the head writer of any of the Mickey Mouse related comic books currently being published by Boom Studios decided to use a similar scenario in story arc as we have seen in the past few months with the Sonic comic book? What would your reaction be if Mickey had to go back in time to prevent Minnie from being wiped out from existence only to return to the normal timeline having resaved her from being wiped out only in return to have her somehow do a similar situation like Sally did and instead of being turned robotic she was turned into a female version of the Phantom Blot. What would your reaction be? Would you be happy? Or would you be pissed off as hell? Well if you're a long-time Disney fan you probably wouldn't be happy and you'd probably want the head writer removed from the comic or even worse fired from the comic book company. Now the reason I used this as a final example is so you can hopefully understand how the other 50% or even 60% or as you look at it less than that feel right now about what's going on with Sally, because you wouldn't be used to see Minnie as a villainess female Phantom Blot now would you? Now I know you're saying that won't ever happen because Disney won't allow it, which is quite probably true, but again I'm just using that as an example of showing how the fans that dislike what Ian has done to Sally feel, that is all it is.

And quite honestly that's all I'm going to say.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Is Ian Flynn making the Sonic comic to dark and gritty?" Now the reason I asked this question is because a fair amount of fans at various Sonic related websites as well as at some artistic/fan artistic websites including Ian Flynn's own website in the past few days have come out and said that they do not like where Ian Flynn is taking the comic right now and with the recent events that are as recent as issue 234, many fans now wonder if Ian Flynn is trying to make the comic a little too dark for their own liking.

Now another fair amount of fans have pointed out that comics becoming dark and gritty is nothing new. For example, some of these fans have pointed out other comics and even other bits of media that show the good guys/baby faces being decimated, wounded and overall put at a huge disadvantage, that when you read or watch makes you believe and wonder if they will ever bounce back and ultimately claim victory.

Some of the examples that these fans used is like a who's who in comics, anime, Magna, as well as in Westren animation and live-action, and the title and names of these examples are : Batman, X-Men, Spiderman, Sailor Moon, Justice league, Avengers, Gargoyles, and any other kind of Anime from Japan that you can think of. You may wonder why some of these fans would use these names and titles for examples. It's because in these other comics and media for a long time or a uncertain amount of time, or even (when it comes to television) a season's worth of time, the heroes will be put at a huge disadvantage, but in the end will always bounce back and ultimately overcome adversity and defeat their enemies once and for all, and if need be restore their friends who were mind controlled or brainwashed back to normal.

While this may be accepted in other forms of media and comics, to long time fans of this comic it's kind of unnatural for us to read and see our favorite characters that have been with the comic and even with the Saturday morning cartoon that ran from 1993 to 1996, is unnatural to see a character like Sally being turned into a robot and thus modified and upgraded to the point that some fans wonder if and how she will ever be restored and even to the point that she says some uncharacteristic things to her friends although it's not really her saying it but instead it's her robotic enslaved mind that's making her say those things. Then you have Bunnie who thanks to Nagus of all people restoring her to normal, only for her to basically sit back and watch her husband who is another long-time character get literally blown away by a self detonating Metal Sonic and now because of that being put into another cliffhanger moment.

It's because of this that even fans who are members of Ian Flynn's own message board are starting in some way to retract some of their support from Ian. Because to them it's one thing to turn the Princess into a robot and thus have the main villain modifier her in some ways but it's another to take a character who many have felt was never given the spotlight along with other characters and put them in a death or no death cliffhanger situation and because of that some of these fans as I mentioned before are starting to in a way retract their support of Ian Flynn. As a matter of fact one if not several fans and members of Ian's own message board have even started to acknowledge the anti-group's over at the DA website as well as the anti-group's that are growing at the various Sonic websites and even on certian video sites which altogether are against this current story line that Ian Flynn is writing.

One group over at the DA website which calls itself "The Anti-Mecha Sally group"and whose tagline is "Down with Ian's abomination!" Has made it clear that they do not want this continuing, and even though the group is only about three weeks old, it already has near 20 members and I know some will say that's not a lot, but they do have a few affiliations with other DA groups that feel the same way as well as possibly with other various Sonic websites. Now again even though it is only three weeks old and some of you will say that near 20 members is not enough to end the storyline, this may be true, however let's be honest with ourselves, because whether we want to admit it or not this group along with its affiliations and members are not the only ones out there that are against Ian's current story line and what he has done to characters like Sally and Antoine, because believe me and I know some you won't, this is far bigger than any of you can imagine.

And it's because of groups like that and fans long-time and short time that are up against the comic being dark and gritty. If you want to put the shoe on the other foot let's look at it from this perspective, fans want the comic to feature mostly the game characters and be more game oriented than what it is now and yet they only did get a little bit of what they want, perhaps in their eyes it's a lot, but from what I've seen it's not much and yet they want more and when they don't get more they complain and moan about it. So by looking at it from that perspective you may understand why long-time and even short time fans don't like what is going on in the comic right now.

And even though I've asked this question before, I'll ask it again, What would you the game oriented fans do if characters like Amy and let's say Shadow where put in the same predicaments that Sally and Antoine a currently in. How would you react? Would you embrace it? Or would you be disgusted a bit? In my humble opinion, I feel and believe you would be disgusted. Now sure some of the game oriented fans would and will deny this, but let's face it they can't hide the truth from themselves or from any other Sonic fan, and that's the truth.

So hopefully you can understand now why fans don't like this dark and gritty atmosphere that Ian Flynn is put the comic into. And you know when you think about it perhaps Ian Flynn knows something we don't. But what that is only you and I can speculate on. But maybe when you think about it he's trying to send a message or may be he's trying to tell those in charge at Archie comics that he wants to officially publish his Other-M webcomic as an official graphic novel. But again we can only speculate.

But overall no matter what some will say, in the eyes of many fans, Mr. Ian Flynn is on very very very very borderline thin ice. And that's all I'm good to say about that.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Today is Friday, February 24, 2012, the time is 11:45 AM.

Greetings fellow Sonic fans, I want to start off by apologizing first of all for making it sound like I have not been standing in the middle as I've been saying. Secondly I want to apologize for what apparently will probably be another long wall of text (as some of you see it).

Now onto the reason for the first apology. You have to understand that I was about 14 years old when I discovered the Saturday morning cartoon of Sonic The Hedgehog, it was also around this time that I also discovered the comic book being published by Archie comics. Now you fast-forward 20 years later or nearly 20 years later and as most of you can tell I am still a fan of the overall franchise. From what I have said in previous posts and of other means of communication, I may have sounded like I didn't care for what Ian Flynn had done. Now I won't lie to you, I am among many that are not too happy with what Ian Flynn did to Princess Sally. However I can respect and understand that the comic book does need to be shaken up every now and then, and that the heroes at times must face and deal with dark days ahead of them.

The problem though that I along with many others have with this is that we understand and respect the fact as I mentioned above that the characters and stories in the comic need a good dark shakeup once in a while, the thing is though we're used to seeing that occur for about 4 to 5 issues at the most, and if necessary as in the case of the Iron Dominion story arc for up to a year, we however and I know some of you may and may not agree are not used to dealing with something like this for which is schudle to be about two years.

It is true that in most comic books that when you reach your 250th issue that you want to do something spectacular, you want to do something memorable, something that it will have people talking for years to come. And with all due respect I can understand why Ian Flynn would want to do that, I mean with the comic book itself entering its 20th anniversary in 2013, wanting to cap that off in a big way is understandable. But many feel that Ian Flynn could have done everything he's doing now story wise by not turning Sally into a robot and putting Antoine quite possibly on deaths door. As a matter of fact they feel he could have gone in a different direction and yet could have gotten the same results. Again I respect and understanding the some you may and may not agree with that, and that's okay.

However when you get a fan as long-time as myself and those that I have mentioned in previous posts, you have to understand and I know I sound like a broken record here, but you have to understand that were not used to seeing these characters in these predicaments especially if it's going to last till next year.

Now one of you here at these message boards pointed out the fact that I am in my 30s and that I shouldn't be obsessed over something that is happened to a fictional character. The truth of the matter is I'm not obsessed, like I said above, I've been a fan for over 20 years or at least going on 20 years, and in those 20 years no matter who wrote the character, no matter who drew the characters design, no matter how much the character evolved and changed, I've been used to seeing them as they are. Now this also goes for other fans that are in the 30s, heck even the fans that are in their 40s and beyond, you can even add fans that in there in the 20s, and they will all agree with the fact that no matter who wrote the character, no matter who drew the character, and no matter how much that character changed over the past 19 to 20 years, we've been mostly used to seeing them as they are/were.

You sit there and you probably read this and say, "Well Brian, in 1999 they changed Amy Rose's design when they did Sonic Adventure, so what's the big deal?" The big deal is the fact that if we were given any clue on hint that are design change for the character was coming, it would have come a long time ago. You know what's funny is that there is a artist over at the DA site who as of today uploaded and posted a picture of Nagus changing Sally back to normal like he did Bunnie, but because of the modifications that were done to Sally as a robot, the end result was Sally and what many could see coming and could be a possibility in a Sega style design. Now looking at the condition that she's in now in the comics, that little comic that this person drew could be a sign of things to come.

Getting back on topic though, many say that this comic book is an all ages comic and its because of that, that people like myself who are in the 30s and maybe even beyond that or below that, have a right to say what we feel about what's going on as well as we have a right to want to create anti-group's on things we don't like.

I do however understand that some you like the dark atmosphere that the comic is currently in and that you cannot wait to see what happens next, believe me I understand we're coming from that, but being the long-time fan that I am and even though I will resubscribe starting next week for another year and even though I may not open the issues I receive, it does not mean that I will not stand in the middle, for you see that is exactly what I'm doing, it's just that with what happened to the Sally character and what's happening with Antoine possibly, these are just a few things that I'm against, everything else I stand in the middle for.

Now you probably want an explanation on that. Okay I understand, here it is, when I figured out along with everyone else that Sally was going to be robotisized, I made a promise to myself that untill the whole thing is resolved and she is return to normal that I would not open one single issue of the comic that I receive in the mail, I also stated that I would not do any reviews if you will untill the whole thing is over. Now what this means is technically I'm standing in the middle to see exactly where Ian Flynn will take this story arc and also because I've been a longtime fan of the character I do not want to read an issue of the comic with her robotisized, now true I do own the 29th issue, but as somebody pointed out on one of these forms, her being a robot in that issue was for that issue only, it wasn't at the level that it's at right now. Some of you will probably read this and continuously look at me as a Sally fan boy, truth be told I am a fan of the character but I'm not a obsessive fan. Yes I do own one of the rare Sally plushes, but that's about it. The thing is I just don't like what's happened to her.

What's happened to her is kind of the equivalent of let's say your favorite NFL team getting screwed in the playoffs and you refusing to watch the rest of the playoffs because of that. I know that's a strange example but you kind of get hopefully what I'm getting at.

In closing let me say this, yes I'm a fan of Sally and yes I am a fan of Antoine and yes I'm a fan, long-time fan of the Saturday morning cartoon just like anybody else, however I am not obsessive and I do stand in the middle and even those that stand in the middle can have dislikments of what they see, in other words we get to stand/sit on the sidelines and watch what happens but we do not have to like what has happened to certain characters involved.

So hopefully and I don't know if it will help, this straightened things out.

time 11:03 AM

Believe it or not, the video/topic I did has not yet been posted on any of these message boards, yes surprising I know, but I figured why not post a written version first and then if it allows me to just post the link to the video version afterwards, and that's what I plan to do after this possibly long written version of said video/topic. So here we go with the topic I like to call "If it weren't for Sega's mandates, things would be different in Archie's Sonic comic book series no doubt!"

I understand that this has probably been brought up several times on various Sonic message boards and websites. However I have yet to give my two cents on it. So that's exactly what I'm going to do here. Now the things I will say some you may and may not agree on but trust me when I talk about them you'll probably understand and agree that if it wasn't for Sega sticking their nose into the comic as often as they do from what many fans and even comic book critics themselves have said and pointed out that they do, then there's no doubt that things and characters in the comic would all be on an equal basis.

It's hard to believe that despite all the differences that we as a overall fanbase have with each other, the one constant that we can agree on, is that Sega needs to stop sticking their nose into the comic book and its spinoffs, and allow the writers to create development for each and every character no matter if they're from a cartoon series, if they're originally made for the comic itself, or even if they're the exclusive game characters that we all know and play as when any kind of Sonic game is released to the public.

I mean when you look at how much more interesting and more developed characters and the environments they inhabit could be if Sega didn't stick their nose and mandate certain things, the comic overall in the eyes of many would be more enjoyable than as some put it it is right now. The reason being is because you could allow not just the cartoon and the comic exclusive characters to develop even more so, even if we don't like a certain way of how their being developed currently, but it would allow the game characters themselves to have more development even if it's just for the comic book and it's spinoff.

I mean characters like Amy Rose could have more development in character if Sega didn't mandate to Archie comics that she don't be changed much from her game counterpart. Now some fans would agree with these mandates, while others won't and especially if it comes to a character like Amy who does have her share of fans, then there is no doubt that more can be done with her character. I mean as crazy as it sounds you could have had Amy be the one that got turned into a robot and by doing so in a character developing way it would show how much she cares not only for the planet but how much Sonic means to her and the way I see it it would probably create just as much drama and have just as much a long-lasting effect, probably just as much as Sally's current situation right now is having on the comic. But again this could have only happened if Sega didn't mandate and stick their nose in the comic as much as they do.

Another character that gets some development but not as much as he should, is Tails. Fans have said that if it wasn't for Sega and their mandates, that we could see more development in Tails's character. Development which could range from not just his intelligence for building and inventing things. That we could see more character development beyond that. Heck, one of the things fans question and wonder is if Tails would ever get in a relationship, and from what we have seen, and from what fans have speculated on, the possibilities of him having a girlfriend are endless, characters like Mina, Amy, and as crazy as it sounds, Nicole are a few names being thrown around. But yet Sega doesn't allow that to happen in the comic because of their mandates. True when it came to Sonic X, Tails did get a love interest, but it wasn't until the second half of the final season. And what's funny is in the second to last episode, unlike the uncut French and Japanese versions, Tails, vocally wasn't able to show the motion that he showed in the uncut versions in our 4kids American version. And again it goes back to Sega's mandates, which believe it or not upset a majority of the fans. And just like with the comic at times, you can put the blame if you will on Sega's mandates.

Other characters like Knuckles, Shadow, and even Rouge are limited in character development thanks to Sega's mandates on the comic. I mean there is so much more that can be done with these characters and yet Sega doesn't allow Archie comics or any of the writers on both comic books to do anything development wise. I mean sure, Knuckles is the exception in some areas, I mean he does have a girlfriend/soulmate in Julie-Su, but that's about it. The other two you could do so much more with in the comics, instead of just having them appear every now and then. Again however you can thank Sega's mandates.

And speaking of characters, it took what would be/felt like 6 to 7 years to get Cream and her mother Vanilla in the main comic. And what's funny is their debut came after Silver's debut in the main comic. And yet again all thanks to Sega's mandates.

Heck, one villain that fans want to see in the comic, is Eggman Nega. And with the exception of just his ship flying by in the first panel of the first issue of the "Treasure Team Tango" miniseries of the SU comic, we have yet to physically see him in any major role in the comic or it's spinoff. Which again you can blame Sega's mandates. Now I know some you will point out the fact that he appeared in a off panel parody on the last page of one of the SU comics, but have we seen him in any major story arc physically in the comic or the spinoff? Not from what I've seen. And yet again it's all thanks to Sega's mandates.

And speaking of this villain, let's talk about the one that opposes him, no not Sonic, but one of my personal favorites, Blaze. And yet again and I know I'm repeating myself saying that, but yet again thanks to Sega's mandates and what they say can be used and who could be used in the comic, Blaze is another character that only makes appearances every now and then, and there is so much more that can be done with her character and yet Sega because of their mandates and saying what can and can't be done, we're not allowed to see it become a reality. And the same goes for her sidekick and friend Marine, so much can be done with her even though she's a newer character, that a lot more can be done in the comic and spinoff, but yet because of their mandates we don't see it.

Then we come to the biggest one, their mascot, the one character that took their Corporation to levels it's never been to before, and the one character that is not allowed in the comic book and it's spinoff to have more development than he should. And of course I'm talking about Sonic. I mean with the current story arc in the main comic and in the spinoff, so much more emotional character development can be done with him. Now true we are seeing with the Sally situation, character development with him, emotional and as some see it on the verge of literally letting all his rage and anger come out. But yet we don't see much more. I mean wer're not even allowed to see him shed a tear here as much as he should during emotional moments. When the first season of the Saturday morning cartoon happened we only had one episode were he shed some tears, but then in the second to last episode of the second/final season at the end of that episode he has a saddened look on his face but yet we don't see no tears coming down and then we see him standing outside of his Uncle's hideout just waiting and that's it. And again all thanks to Sega's mandates.

This is the one thing many fans, despite their differences with each other feel needs to be changed. They will all agree and some won't though, but most will agree that Sega needs to stop sticking their nose in the comic book's business. As far as they are concerned, let the comic be it's own entity, don't continuously say what can be and what can't be used and let the writers have free range. Because by doing so it puts all characters and I mean ALL characters on equal ground and makes them all vanulable to the same events and situations that the cartoon and comic exclusive characters are vanuable too. Now again some fans may not agree with this, but I think overall many others will.

So in closing, that me say this, it only takes ONE to start a revolution, it only takes ONE to start a fire, and what this means is that it only takes ONE to cause Sega to stop sticking their nose in areas of their Sonic franchise that they do not need to stick into.

And that's all I can say about this issue.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mobius years later. What can be said about this topic. Many have felt that it is part of the Sonic comic books continuity. Well others say that it's not canon. Now both sides may be correct in some ways. For those that say that MXYL is part of the comic book continuity, they have valid points. As a matter of fact one fan over at a certain popular media site recently as of tonight did a 8 1/2 long minute theory on why they feel MXYL is part of the continuity in some ways. One of the things they bring up is the resurgence wars and the elemental wars that were discussed and talked about and briefly mentioned it if you will by Antoine and Bunnie's son Jaques in the last two to issues of the MXYL saga that was presented in the Sonic Universe comic.

You may ask yourself why this fan brought this theory up? Well from what they can see in the more recent events of the main comic and the SU comic, they feel there could be some truth behind it. The reason they think and theorize this belief, is because of what will be happening in future issues. One of the things they brought up was the Ancient Onyk aka the black chaos Emerald, for which Tikal and Chaos resided in. They feel that with this theory that this could be the beginning of the aforementioned wars that were briefly mentioned in the MXYL Saga. Which in turn they feel, from what I read, they feel could bring Tikal and Chaos together as Tikahos. Now I remind you that these are just theories that this fan over at this media site is thinking of, and feel could be closer to the truth and closer in connection to the MXYL then anyone could have thought.

I understand and I'm sure this fan understands that nobody will believe these theories. However there might be one theory or maybe two that they may agree on. What might those be you ask? Well the first one has to do with Snively and the missing blue chaos Emerald. For you see this fan feels that there is a connection between Snively and the missing Emerald. Because they believe that Snively has the missing Emerald. You may ask why that might be the case? According to this fan, Snively was the first one to report the Emerald missing, and most recently as of issue 234 and issue 37, has finally decided to take matters into his own hands and finally overthrow Dr. Eggman, as well as at the same time free his beloved Queen Regina. Now to me as somebody that read this theory, I have to agree with it. Because even though I have yet to open any of my subscription issues, from the summaries I have read and from the theories and predictions that I have watched and read, that have been provided by other fellow Sonic fans. When you piece these pieces of this very puzzle together, it all makes sense.

Now the final theory is actually a theory I talk about myself in a two-part audiovideo, but it seems that I'm not the only one. For you see just like those that have written about it and have talked about it, this theory has to do with one Hershey the Cat. Now of course many have speculated possibly the same theories and thoughts as this fellow fan has. And that being of course after 233 and even before that, that Ms. Hershey is alive and well and undercover as part of the Mobius South American Dark Legion. Now for those that ask why people may speculate this. It's because when you look at one of the upper panels in the mid pages of issue 37 you will see a female legionnaire being confronted by one of the grandmasters. And then you add in the description for issue 237 in a few months that a mysterious figure is tracking Sonic, Tails, and Amy, one can guess and wonder as to who that could truly be that is following them.

Now please understand that these are just theories that this fellow fan and friend of mine came up with tonight.

Now I did not mention all of what they said, you will have to read it yourself. But let's just say it has some to do with the 3 spirits that have awakened inside Ixis Nagus, as for the rest you have to read yourself.

I think Ian Flynn's Trying to Get The Comic Back to Status Quo (WRITTEN)

The reason I say this. Is because despite how we feel about what is currently going in the comic's right now, whither we like or are indifferent about it, I think Ian's doing this, so he can get the comic's back to status quo. What I mean, is not some deal/situation where we have three separte teams trying to set things right, but back to the ol' Freedom Fighters and their allies going on missions, foiling Eggman's plans, end of issue/story, or issues/stories if it's multied part.

Now I know some of you will say, "Oh, but Brian, aren't they doing that now? Well, somewhat YES, and mostly NO. What I mean is by having THE Freedom Fighters (Sonic, Sally, Bunnie, Rotor, Tails, Amy Rose, Antoine, and perhaps Dulcy) along with some allies, going on missions and foiling Eggman's plans. But with a bit more wisdom on their side, meaning making sure their are ready for anything that may get thrown their way.

In fact, you know that pic I posted very recently, well with the expection of Bunnie, Antoine and Dulcy not being in that group shot, thatMAYBE what we get when it's all said and done.

That's why I think Ian is doing this whole arc, that's been spanning over both comic's for the past 7-8 months, with everything ranging from Nagus becoming King to Eggman bringing back robotization and the Death Egg Mark II to recently as of 40 and 237. All because he, in my honest and humble opnion wants to restore the status quo in shape and form of matter.

But hey, that's just me. What about you?

Hello, today is Friday, June 15, 2012.

As you could probably see, the question in this topic's name is one that some have voiced opinion on. Now I know you may sit there and say that this is like the one millionth time or so that I have talked about this, or at least in the field of it. Now in your own opinions, which you have a right to, you're probably right. But I think this is one questionable topic that has yet to be discussed at any of the Sonic forums.

Now one would probably look at this question and ask why anybody would ask this question. Well it's just a matter of opinion. For you see not just in comic books or television or movies or even sports entertainment, does an event of something or done by someone possibly start to wear thin. What I mean, is that when something initially happens at first, many will embrace it and talk about it for some time and even get behind it and probably cheer it. An example would be a year ago when WWE superstar/wrestler CM Punk dropped his infamous pipe bomb shoot or worked shoot at the end of Monday Night Raw. After that, many fans embraced Punk's pipe bomb style in the WWE, and although a year has passed and fans still give him huge pops/ovations every time he enters an arena, there are some that have voiced their opinion and said that his pipe bomb style has worn out its welcome and that it's wearing thin, and that it's shock value doesn't have the shock that it used to have. Of course that is just the opinions of some WWE/wrestling fan's.

You're probably asking, what does this have to do with the topic you're talking about? Well in the opinion of some, the Mecha-Sally deal has started to lose its flavor and value when it comes to its shock value. In other words some fans who gave/given their opinions, (just like I mentioned above in the example that I used), if they feel this whole situation with Sally and the predicament that she's in currently, has worn out its welcome and the shock value that Ian Flynn wants to go for with other characters that have yet to see her in her robotic form is wearing thin, they have to right to voice that opinion. Basically, some feel that the shock value that Ian Flynn is still trying for is done and over with and he needs to come up with something different. Like let's Merging Mecha - Sally and the Metals into one bot, that would bring shock value back to the story, believe it or not.

I know many of you here at these Sonic message boards may disagree or will disagree with what I'm saying and what these others are saying. But again it's just their opinions, just like you have your own opinions about other stuff that goes on in the comic and it's spinoff.

And before I go any further, let me say this, you have a right to say what you want to say about me and say that I'm obsessed with Sally being restored, and you have a right to say that, but let me make something perfectly clear, that your opinions and your entitled to them, but I will say this once, I am not obsessed. That's I'm going to say. Now moving back onto topic.

Again, I know some you will disagree with what is being shown here. But it's just the opinions of the fans. True you have the right to say that they need to move on and just let the comic be what it's supposed to be. And that you have a right to say that. But it's also their rights to say how they feel about this situation and how they feel it starting to wear thin.

So that's all I'm going to say on this topic, and yes I will provide a link to one of the topics down below. And don't worry it's not a video.

God bless and have a good Father's Day weekend.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm certainly getting bored of the Mecha Sally angle too. I mean how many times can you replay the "character sees Sally roboticez and is shocked" card over and over and over until you just say "get on with it already!"? I mean it's nice that she's using her tactical mind and all instead of just being a mindless fighting machine, but the shock value is completely and utterly gone now and it's just a dragging plot point that makes you wonder when it will get an ending already. However, in two issues she gets sent to assassinate her brother, so I'm guessing the climax of her arc will be reached in a few months and by around 242 or so she'll either get her mind back or be returned back to normal, time will tell. http://gameboysage.d...dates-304153785

Now believe me, there is a lot more where these came from. But if you like, you can check those out for yourselves

Anyways, SU #41. I'll get around to reading my issue sometime this week but from the looks of the issue, I'm gonna love Shard. Hes reminding me of the new game script modern sonic for some reason and I'm that big of a fan of the new script sonic.
