I want this game. Whether or not I can buy it Day One is a different matter, but I'm definitely buying it brand new so I can get the original Alice as well. Missed it the first time around :(

I am so tempted to see the first 10 minutes but I'm not going to spoil myself any further. Watching a

of the game is good enough for me. :P

Besides I accidently spoiled myself to the first game and I'm trying to avoid that again. >.<

Wait wait wait. I haven't heard much about this game and now it's being released next month? Holy shit.

The deal isn't for PC users, is it? That blows, but at least I torrented the original years ago.

New trailer that shows several scenarios in the game. A surprisingly lot of variety.

The original game had a lot of variety too. Well, at least the start of the game did. From Mirror Image until the end of the game, everything just started to look like the same sort of clockwork environment.

After watching the trailer again... is that music the Sherlock Holmes movie theme? I'm not too sure as I only saw the first minute or so of the film when it was on demand and my relatives were watching it a that time, but it definitely sounds similar to it.

General reception is that the game is memorable as an experience, flawed as a game. It also seems like it has some elements that make it an amazing game, and other elements that make it a lackluster game, and it would be a lot better if they cut a lot of the fat.

IGN gives it s 6.5/10: http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/143/14323746.html

Gamespot gives it a 7/10: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox360/adventure/alice-madness-returns/review.html

"Good game with a LOT of issues. Obviously put story over gameplay": http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/news/videogames/1671

"Not a bad game, but not a good one either. On the border, pick it up if you're a fan": http://www.thekoalition.com/2011/06/alice-madness-returns-review-she-mad/

How very, very disappointing. This game should have been fantastic. I'll wait for a price drop.

Official Playstation Magazine gave it a 5/10 criticizing bland platforming and difficulty. GAF confirmed that Game Informer gave it a 6.75.

If you ask me though this general consensus isn't that far removed from how the original game was received; fantastic atmosphere but meh gameplay. It was just something way too new at the time.

Don't think I'll be paying full price for it, especially since I just bought Duke.

EDIT: Gamereactor.se gave it an 8/10 citing fun platforming, great variety, fantastic atmosphere and tight controls, but criticized it's less-than-impressive polygon count for graphics and smeared textures.

On the other hand, their second opinion column which is reserved for an extra review by another editor gave it a 5/10, echoing most of the points presented by other reviewers, criticizing the confusing level design, repetition and bland graphics.

Oh dear.

I still want to get this game but not at full price. I'll wait until I find a copy of the PC version that's around the $20 range.

Still, atmosphere over gameplay really was American McGee's Alice's main selling point. I'm not too surprised here.

This game is freaking great! It's a must have if you love the platforming games of last gen!

Holy crap...

Have you guys seen the current unboxing video of it?

The instruction manual is a piece of paper...

Did anyone pick up the game? I'm kinda tempted to get it just for the original title alone.

I'm starting to like the characters of the game, i'm not into horror games but they are all a twisted version of their original self. I'm particulary in love with the undead Card Guard.

And Bumby. What a son of a bitch, but cool anyway.

And I fell in love with the design of Alice, it's so goddamn cute... And sadistic, but I care less.

Shows how poor and sad and... Surprisingly cute Alice can be when twisted a bit.

I kind of want this game... I don't really care about the reviews it's getting because I played this and enjoyed the hell out of it and ever since I've decided to not give a damn about what score a game gets. So yeah, if there is a demo online for either pc or ps3 I'll check it out and more than likely cave in and buy it.

Hey Uh. I'd rather have a confirmation than waist 40 bucks.

Would this game run on a GeForce 6200? And don't post the requirements, they always lie.
