I've always believed that Hyper Sonic was added 'for the lolz'. Super Sonic was godly enough, but Hyper Sonic was just overdoing it. Best he stay sealed in S3&K.

Is it safe to say that I hated how he looked and would've preferred a traditional Metal fight?

Make him either white or baby blue, and make him a dlc.
