99% big tits, skimpy/no clothing, over the top glowing accessories, sparkles, no thought put into anything but sex appeal.

1% - thought process on species outside of typical Hedgehog,Cat, Squirrel, Echidna & wolves, well designed details and outfits, none slutty/mary-sue composure and body language, over all a cool and well made fan character that doesn't look like a recoloured Amy, Rouge, Sonic or Shadow.

i had to trek through at least 20 pages to find these two... good god DA is filled with shitty fan characters...

The Butterfly character looks quite good. But the raptor-puppy thing doesn't really look like a Sonic fan character at all. Well he kinda sorta does but eh its the legs I think. Could very well belong to a different franchise imo. First thing that came to mind was digimon. That'd make an AWESOME digimon.

Neither of those designs make for a good Sonic character. They're massively over-detailed and the anatomy for both is completely wrong.

Eh the clothes on the Roy Sabre character can be simplified. Given, this is a fan creation so I think some liberties are allowed for creativity. But I don't see anything inherently bad about the anatomy. Well he has abs which no sonic character has but those lines could just be erased and then presto.

Lol no sonic character really has unique muscular structure or even bones.

a fan character normally gets drawn in the artist's unique style and not the restricted Sonic Canon Style, when people design sexual appeasing fan wanks, they want them to have hourglass figures, giant tits, long slender legs etc. which you cannot do with the Canon base, when i draw characters they're a mix of anthropomorphic and sonic style, but when i want to draw Canon i "simplify" all her assets, details and look into a typical, large hands & feet, circular head and shrub bodied Uekawa style.

it's all a matter of artistic preference.
