No it doesn't.

However the unvaried list probably has something to do with the fact that those just happen to be the most popular stages. The selection would probably have been more varied if we had known about Generations prior to the poll. That way we would have tried to vote for more varied tropes etc. Instead of the levels we enjoyed the most.

The developers also should have done this.

"Hmm, Seaside Hill is the most popular stage from Sonic Heroes? Well old chap, I do believe that it's frightfully similar to Green Hill Zone! I have an idea! Why don't we use the second or third most popular stage from Sonic Heroes, all in the name of variety? I do say, I believe the fans will appreciate that!".

It's not fucking rocket science.

Did nobody read what I said?

Casino night looks like its just a mini game, read the sonic stadium front page stuff...

Im still pissed that I need a gold membership to play the generations demo.

We read. We also already knew.It's still nice that the stage is included.

Hah! They used the "Extend!" music for invincibility! I knew that would be used someday!

And yes I am back in here and I don't know why. Maybe I'll just do what I did with Unleashed and S4: leak like crazy, repress it all, and then enjoy the game upon release while hyping what the game has in store.

Its me or Ocean Palace looks like an estension of Green hills... i mean, it can be the same "zone" but with different "acts"

Maybe. I mean it could possibly be an effective level transition.

In any case, Ocean Palace looks VERY different to Green hill with all the ruins intermingled within.

So, it appears we're getting a few mini-games.

GameStop's exclusive Casino Night stage DLC is a pinball mini-game.

The Tails Tornado mini-game is back.

Now we also have a Werehog mini-game.

I bet the Tails Tornado and Werehog mini-games will be part of the story mode, too.

Unless of course they were just ripping assets from Unleashed wholesale.

I mean Sun/Moon Medals were also found, I doubt those are going to be in the game, because there is no requirement for them.

You won't give them the benefit of the doubt because they failed to include all the levels that you wanted?

The leaked list appeared plenty of times, and everyone was saying it was terrible and Sonic Team failed already (and rightfully so). But I defended them because I thought there was no way they'd be dumb enough to completely skip over stages for Sonic 3 and CD, pick all city stages for the Adventure games, and omit so many favorites like Ice Cap, Hydrocity, Lava Reef, Flying Battery.

I knew they weren't going to have every single one of my favorites or anyone else's, so you can drop that poor argument. I just thought they'd do the best they could to satisfy most people.

Evidently not, hence all the complaining here and everywhere else on the web. But there's stiil DLC, right guise! ...guise?

Yes, must remember the positives heavily outweigh the negatives here.

Unless Werehog is IN Sky Sanctuary Zone 0_0
