Glad you guys liked lava reef! has to be my all time fav level, sucks that its not in generations sad.png

Started on green hill (suppose it had to come at some point) Might not turn out as good as how it looks in generations, but heres my wip (a few placeholders as usual)

I really like it! I will give a full "review" when you finish it. But looking awesome so far!

Awesome start biggrin.png ! One thing though, before you start adding things like the flowers in I think you might want to scale Sonic up a bit. He looks really tiny next to that bridge. Just one bolt from the bridge is almost as large as his shoe (if you were to pull it out of the plank).wink.png

Oh man, I just have to pop in and say that the Hidden Palace and Lava Reef pictures are AMAZING!

If you happen to do requests, I would totally suggest that you do Ice Cap Zone next. :P

While I know Sonic pose is in WIP I think it would look awesome if he was running on the bridge in the background but it's just a idea. Up to you if you wanna move him there but I know this will be great once it's finished :)

Sorry about my recent lack of updates, but i havent been able to work on stuff recently. Spent the last few weeks trying to find a job, which is horrific in england.

Started a bit more work on green hill, but not much to show yet. Still just trying to get a possible layout before I start making it much more interesting biggrin.png

Updated prev image with grass ( hope it looks ok ). Attempted to improve lighting a bit.

Still things to do such as some textures, trees, plants, mountains, waterfall/river, totems etc

Let me know what you think so far, and if you can think of any improvements that I might not have thought of :D

Well damn, your 3D skills are amazing. If I might add something? The grass looks fantastic, but I'm wondering if perhaps it may look better if some came out on the underside of the hills where the grass/ground meets stone?

In between doing Green Hill, been working on another version of Casino Night. Still in its early stages aswell, but its looking closer to the actual game biggrin.png

Hey all!

Thought i would try and bring myself back to work on stuff :D

Recently been demoralised from actually working on any stuff due to difficulty finding a job with art etc. Tried to get feedback from artists from Sega yet got the usual no reply :(

So.. to try and get myself back into modelling again, im gonna clean up those horrible buildings in my last casino night (been staring at them for best part of a month and hating them)

And then I would love an idea for the next zone!

Thanks man! Yeh has been a pain trying to get feedback from game studios. Would have been nice to hear something from Sega, but seems they wont take notice of me :(

As for what to do next.. Hard choice. I'd like to say Mystic Cave or Hydrocity, but I'd love to see something brighter again.. Maybe Marble Garden?
