Proposing 2 changes to the comic wiki entries and template:

    1. Reading order. The order the comic should be read in with reference to the comic issue preceding and the issue following placed in the stat box. The need is highlighted by IDW Bad Guys splicing the main editions. Format particulars can be determined later, a place holder could be " EDPPP <<< (EDNNN) >>> EDFFF " hyperlinked between wiki entries. P for past issue that should be read before the N now issue and F future issue read afterwards.
    2. Previews world (also known as pullbox) catalogue ID included in the stat. Preview world is a site used to order comics through local comic shops 2 months in advance and months afterwards. This ID is a type of SKU [Stock Keeping Unit] unique to every comic book and cover variant with RIs being excluded. Comic enthusiasts will find this useful for searching for missing physical editions.

Great ideas @TangleTangerine! The stats box is just a text field in the page editor at present (I felt it was more efficient to let editors add statistics freely), but this may change to specific fields in the future. So for the second suggestion, we can just edit the page and add a new header in the stats box field for Previews World IDs manually.

The first suggestion will likely need its own field to realise though, I'll have a think about how best to make this work. Maybe we have a field for "Previous Issue" and another field for "Next Issue", which can be searchable fields that allow editors to select certain issues to be linked in on the stats box.

Are you able to edit the pages by the way? I'm sure I've given Members the ability to edit but I've never seen it happen so I'm a bit concerned that I've got some permissions messed up somewhere.

I can edit pages, though that brings up a couple of concerns. Mostly I could edit as a newbie before I was manually switched across to member. Also that I have access to a moderation window to enable or disable page comments.

Also might need to tweak the permissions on page talk comments as my comments still need moderation approval. Unsure if that is intentional.

Yeah, I set approval on almost everything with wiki while we're still working through the beta phase just to avoid any abuse... but I should undo that and just trust in the report functions we have on-site.

I do agree that newbie phase members should be unable to edit records. I'm not sure about the ability for certain user groups to lock/unlock page comments, might be baked into the general edit access, I'll take a look.

    Thanks for the suggestions!
