Sonic Spinball sees Sonic thrown into a world of pinball objects. While you might think that’s quite a basic premise, the game actually feels pretty unique. It’s not your average pinball table… The story? Well, Sonic’s gotten himself in trouble again, isn’t he?
After an airborne encounter against Eggman on the Tornado, the blue blur is flung into the sea and into Mount Robotnik’s sewage duct. At least Sonic can begin his counter-attack in earnest. Just watch the smell.
Tips & Cheats
Level Select: Go to the Options screen and press A, Down, B, Down, C, Down, A, B, Up, A, C, Up, B, C, Up. You should hear a chime. Exit the options, then press A+Start for level 2, B+Start for level 3, and C+Start for level 4.
Unlimited Lives: Enter that Toxic Caves level and get to the upper section, where if you miss Sonic with the flippers you can catch him in a dustbin to save him from the toxic waste. Make your way into one of these barrels and move towards the wall, in the opposite direction of where the Emerald is. Jump out of the barrel and kill yourself, essentially. Sonic will look like he's dying twice, but it's not your eyes going funny - he'll re-appear at the start of the stage with the phrase "Launching Extra Ball" appearing. Sorted.
Multiball Bonus Stage: Collect all of the rings in a level, and then find a large ring to be taken to a special stage
