The first feature length theatrically released Sonic the Hedgehog film, produced and distributed by Paramount Pictures and released on February 14, 2020. It tells the story of a talking blue hedgehog who possesses super speed arriving on Earth after being forced to escape his home world. Living in seclusion around the town of Green Hills, Montana, he peacefully observes the inhabitants from the shadows. However after revealing his existence through an incident where his latent abilities spiraled out of his control he comes to discover there are still those out there who want his power for themselves. With the help from some friendly (albeit reluctant) residents of Green Hills he hopes to finally stop running and settle in the place he calls home once and for all.
